Its my little girl's last day at nursery today, then she's off to big school on Thursday next week, gulp! So we've got the long weekend free to have some time with her and some days out before she embarks on a new chapter of her life. Might take her to the local farm tomorrow so we can cuddle some sheep, planning on a day out to York next week so she can see the trains at the national railway museum, will probably take her to the park on her bike if the weather's nice. It will just be nice to have some time with her and not be at work!! Anyone got any exciting plans for their bank holiday? shame we couldn't all have one MAHOOSIVE zed meet J

been to halfords today and got my new tyres (continental semi-slicks lol), splash gaurds, and a speedo found an old bike abandoned in a back lane today aswell (just a frame with chain and gears), brought it home and luckily the s bend for the gears was a good one and it went onto my bike as mine had seized so im all in action, gonna go at the weekend to try some bash hats on still a few month's of cycling left yet, hopefully get the miles racked up i think i can really get into this cycling lark

I'm on 02 and my new phone has died. Its not insured and 02 say they have to send it off for repair. I'm really stuffed without a phone for 10 days + Has anyone got 1 I could borrow for a couple of weeks please? Thanks Jane

Hi all, I'm after 2 MP3 files of dead air. Just pure silence. One needs to be 5 seconds long and one 10 seconds long. Someone did this for me a while ago but there was a clear audible blip at the beginning and end. I need these so that i can properly space KITT's voice on an MP3 player or other portable device for use in my replica. Any help appreciated :) Cheers Peter

My central heating programmer decided to stop working today. Changed the fuse and it just blew again inside the programmer. I need to replace it so had a quick look in the Screwfix catalogue and not sure what I need as there are 2,3,4 and 5 wired ones. Mine has 4 wires (+, - and 2 others) so do I get a 2 or 4 wire one? Here's a pic of my old one and the wiring if anyone can point me in the right direction on a replacement :) Cheers Vijay

Borrowed this photo from a local website that watches what we do here ;) This is myself driving one of our test trains back in April this year. I'm in the one on the right (yellow front, you cant see my face, I'm on the right of the cab as you see it) and a collegue is driving the red one behind (slower track and unit!) which I'd just overtaken :D This is a brillient and fun job, especially when I'm out driving these test units. The fastest I've driven on this track is 120mph (tilting), and the fastest I've been driven is 145mph (tilting) (special test conditions).

Does anybody know if my other car will fail its MOT with a rear windscreen wiper not working? Likewise is the tracking tested/looked at? I was told no, but its got to effect the steering which is tested, no? Cheers guys.

I was preparing my BMW for sale by cleaning the car and was finishing off the wheels when a Sparrow was walking around me as i kneeled down. It kept circling me at first and so i went into my house to see if it would fly off. Well it didn't fly off, it kept following me around the garden and everywhere i went. I was about to get into my car to get something from halfords and it jumped in with me on my lap. I was very shocked and slightly scared at first but then i noticed it had half of its tail feathers missing and one of its eye closed and looking sore. After just moving in my old house i had Virgin HD Now my new house (rented) i have just got the virgin normal freeview xl package. Can i plug in my HD box from my old house and get hd channels??
