Just finishing off working on the zed last week when an elderly neighbour that i,ve spoke to a few times popped his head into my tent and said i heard your compressor going , do you want a air spanner ? so i,m thinking what,s an air spanner , i ask him do you mean an air ratchet ?, he says yeah i think , it,s in a case with sockets i,ll never use do you want it , ok i said and thanks very much so he goes home and brings back a brand new impact gun in a case with sockets extensions and stuff .:thumbup1::thumbup1: What a nice thing to happen out of the blue and a nice bloke as well . Anyone else had owt nice happen ?

Hi guyz, My son has loaded his laptop up with many programs/files, ranging from xbox things to school projects, and now running very slow, so i got him an external hard drive to transfer all the programs/files to, and speed the laptop up after a defrag and disc clean. The only thing is.... how do i transfer these programs/files to the hard drive to his laptop? I tried clicking on the shortcut on desktop and then selecting "send to" and sending to the external hard drive, but after connecting the E.H. it will not open/operate. Can anyone give me a puter illiterate guide on how to send these items to an E.H. and remove them from the laptop and still operate as nor…

My girlfriend yesterday ordered a samsung phone off the car phone warehouse website which usually costs £80 but was advertised as £8, touch screen and everything pay as you go. They took her money but today they sent an E-mail to say they had cancelled her order and refunded her money as it had been a mistake and wrongly priced. Where does she stand on this ? Are they obliged to send the phone ? Any help would be appreciated.

Im heading up to Notts/Lincoln tomorrow with a van to pick up an engine and seats. Ive got a bigger van than i need so if anyone needs anything picking up on route or around that area i can bring it back down to Cambridge and might be easier for you then. Thought i would offer :) Marty

Was chatting to a guy in my local car shop regarding decat for the zed and he said vosa is fining anybody 6k if you have a decat on your car wether you play dumb or not, got one on my scoob and was going to get one for the zed but can nt afford 12k fine lol. Mark

the isle of wight yup that one i know its not very big and i know its an expensive crossing but i see it everyday and ive never been there. just wonder if its worth hoofing teh zed over there and charging down that coastal road round the island? or is it full of 40 limits speed traps and bumps and other hatefull driving spoilers

From what i read VAT and import tax wouldnt have to be paid on a old used car. anything ive missed? Marty

Where is best place to hire a van? ive been searching around as i need a van for saturday however the firms ive tried either said its a minimum of 2 days or they are not open sunday to return the van and i would then be charged 2 days. Cheapest ive got is £80 so far for saturday to monday. I need to pick it up near Cambridge or have it delivered to me :) Cheers folks Marty

anyone used these for polishing, ive bought 6 for £2 from asda and they are thick and soft, great for drying cars after a wash or for applying or rubbing polish and wax on cars gonna get another 6 this weekend

Hi guys. Ive been pondering... I love the looks of a gloss black light bar like so. Now when ive had mot's in the past on other cars ive had a spare set of lights to put on and off, just incase the tester has a problem with it. The only true argument ive had against it is that the reflector needs to reflect no matter how tinted it is. My question is (from getting inspiration from a spoiler thats just been sold on here) can i gloss over the reflectors in the light units and have the desired effect and then use the brake light on the spoiler as a reflector. Or does it need to be on both sides of the vehicle?
