Anyone on here? Just past clacket lane going anticlockwise, about 6.30am, a red Z.. Didn't spot if it was UK or import, or the reg, unfortunately.. and I was in the back of a silver Rover 75, so couldn't do any Z to Z waving... TT Tim? Your neck of the woods I believe..

I log in this morning to find that I cannot access the Zedworld Signs off the forum thread! Has it all kicked off again, or should I say are we still at each others throats? What with Timmy and Craig playing keyboard ninjas, Andy Duff being accused of alienating everyone and 'peace loving' Glen spreading bad karma wherever he goes, this place is just full of festive spirit! Happy Christmas one and all :D Tim

For bad for a 2+2 especially since I did a huge wheels spin first :D on a wet road. It was done by the most accurate way ever, using presice timing instruments and speed insturments. Stop watch and a GPS LOL (Global Positioning Sensor, not Grasshopperprosports ;)). Even though I did do it on the East Lancs past GPS (Grasshopperprosports not Global Positioning Sensor ;)LOL) Yes Yes I know its a terrible way of timing your 0-60 speeds. I heard horror stories of cars supposed to be able to do 0-60 in 5.whatever and when they finally come to test it, its well over 6 seconds. I just wanted to make sure it is roughly right :D. If anyone remembers seeing that M…

Well, I've popped my cherry: Had a bit of a 'tail out' moment in my 300 - first time and i've had it for a month so far. Just a little too eager on the loud pedal whilst driving on a damp road. Car said to me 'OK, look, I'm sliding to the left'. I registered mild shock and turned in a smidge, easing off a little on the throttle. Car said 'OK, I'm straightening up, I'm straightening up, wooops, I've gone a little too far to the right now!' I corrected a little more - no sudden movements. Car said 'OK, there we go. I'm gripping again.' I slowed down a lot. I think I was fairly lucky that it was a more or less straight road (I was straightening up from a corner at…

Ok, I keep hearing about the differences between Jap import and UK cars, that the Jap ones are mostly modded (mine was) and thrashed more than UK, and that they don't have much rust compared to UK. So my questions are, how come the Japs can thrash their cars so much if 1. they have lower limits than here, that are enforced by Draconian measures (rocket powered NET accross the road to catch speeding bikers!!!! ) 2. They have 10 times more congestion on their roads. And also.....I understand that Japan is under snow for most of the winter, if so how come their cars don't rot like UK ones?

Well Mr T and I actually made it to Grasshopper before everyone had gone!!:D I'd just to to say a massive 'Good Luck' to everyone there. The premises are fantastic and there aren't many companies that would put food on for everyone. As for those that work there, what is there to say but they're just the best, and I'm sure everyone else on here wishes them the greatest future. The biggest Good Luck goes to Laura, she's going to need it working with that bunch;) Anyone get any pics??? Great day.........

I must make a personal statement regarding this forum and the people I have dealt with since joining/owning my Zed. It is sad when we see a "statement2 by Jeff of Zedworld defending the work he is doing. It does seem that too many people are willing to jump on the bandwagon of even the slightest negative inflection upon any other individual. This may be justified in certain cases but when aimed at folk as up front and honest as Jeff and Luke, is quite disgusting to me personally. I have found the Zed community to be among the finest folk I have ever happened uppon and it does seem a shame that we disagree amongst ourselves. Not wishing to play the whole Len…

Its the biggest waste of time. There is no difference in the car, its not deeper and the turbos dont spool up. Waste of money........... NOT! Pulled out of the garage doing 20 or so in 2nd, thought I would have a go and floor it and I didnt accelerate too much becuase of the wheel spin I was doing. You can see by the rev needle that the engine is breathing better, not only does it go up quicker when you rev it but it also falls quicker. You can tell be the exhaust gas that its breathing better. Put you hand by the pipes while it's idleing and it feels like a gale blowing when before if just …

Following the incident that was reported on this forum with Emero and Ajay, I have spent most of the today in collating the facts and circumstance before and after and have conclude the following points. As reported on this forum Emero and Ajay were travelling along the M6 when a noise occurred from the rear of the car and the car then led to the right towards the centre barrier, Ajay was able to recover control and pull over to the hard shoulder and stop. A break down service was called who I understand diagnosed possible bearing failure. The car was recovered and further investigation showed the cause to be 4 of the 5 wheels studs had sheared on the ne…

So far today we've had discussions on "Can I disable my turbos ?" and "How can I maintain back pressure when I remove my cats ?". What's next ? Can I fit 165s on my 19x10s ? Is there a small bore conversion for better economy ? AndyZ, have you got any speed limiters going cheap ? Do Stillen do a tweed kit to replace my horrible leather ? And we used to take the piss out of other forums :D :D :D
