"My sister-in law is from Oklahoma and has a slight accent. She has cats and when she lived in the south she would take them to the groomers and have what is called a Line Cut. To her a line cut is when all of the fur hanging down below the cat's tummy is taken off (because it gets matted or snarled). When she moved to Chicago with my brother, one of the cats fur got all tangled up during the move so she took it in for a line cut. She was quite surprised when she heard the price as it was twice as much as it was down south. This speaks a lot about the quality of Japanese products and their quality standards. They're still laughing about this at IBM. Apparently the computer giant decided to have some parts manufactured in Japan as a trial project. In the specifications, they set out that they will accept three defective parts per 10,000 . When the delivery came in there was an accompanying letter. " We, Japanese people , had a hard time understanding North American business practices . Was driving home last night on a dark country B road with heavy snow falling and I had to drive really slowly becasue I could hardly see the road ahead. I nearly came to a standstill at times - even full beam seemed to just light up the snow FFS !! Just thought I'd share that.

Finally, I spotted the 300ZX in the closing credits of The Fast and the Furious.. It's only taken me two viewings.. Don't think I ever watched through the credits to the bit at the end in Mexico! Sad news about beer. You have to hope this study is flawed, but the evidence seems irrefutable.
