Hi Guy's Had the pleasure of meeting Jeff yesterday when i took my car in for a new battery and fuel filter. I was thinking of selling the Z, but not now. Having somebody who is reasonably close to me and so enthusiastic about the Z, has put my mind at rest. I just need to get some bodywork done now. Roll on the shows. Thanks Jeff, nice to meet you. Cheers Dave.

This should have been done before but I'm still feeling a bit disconnected from the world at the moment... It's happening, but I'm not participating... Firstly I need to say that I am a bit disappointed in the 2 members that a) posted the pictures on the forum and b) named the people involved, especially as it was obvious from previous posts that we were not being named. I had decided on the way home that I was not going to put this on the board just yet. Maybe I would have after a couple of days, but even now, looking at them brings it all back 10 times worse than normally. However, the decision to put them up was taken out of my hands it would seem. It wou…

For people who want to know what the difference in sound is when you do something to your car, here is a little clip I have made. Both are of the Traction Control rev limiter. The first one in the day, is stock airbox (I think) with a Mongoose Exhaust and cats are in place. The second, at night, is with an Apexi induction, same Mongoose exhaust and DeCatted down pipes. Sounds best on a good speakers not little ones and turn up the bass a little as its sounds deeper in real life. Its a DivX film, and bout 1.5mb. http://www.nissanzx.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Difference.avi Stuart

got a letter from nissan last week with a invit to pre-order 350z a £2000 deposit. I wish I had the money no i well have to wait a couple of years to get one. But with a starting prices of £24000 and the GT pack at £26500 includes cruise control, BOSE 240 watt audie system with 7 speakers, heated and electronically adjustable charcoal leather seats. Does sound nice but I think I well be keeping the 300zx for the time being. jay

After reading this: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=17334 I'm, thinking of issuing a recall notice on all 300zx.co.uk stickers! : If they have to spell it to put in into the search engine, then I think we stand a chance that they won't find us :D Tim

I always flash at other 300ZXs when I see them when I am in mine, but there are so few around here, I only every see them when they are on the other side of a motorway, or in a car park on at a junction on the other side of a dual carrage way. So I was thinking, should we extend our light flashing greeting to SXs too? After all they are a Nissan performance car and are quite simalar to the ZX. Besides I usually get a look from most SX drivers and I always notice an SX. What you think? Stuart

A woman sends her clothing out to the Chinese laundry. When it comes back there are still stains in her panties. The next week she encloses a note to the Chinaman that says, "Use more soap on panties." This goes on for several weeks, the woman sending the same note to the laundry. Finally fed up the Chinaman responded with his own note that said, "Use more paper on ass." ------------------------------------------------------------------ Two married blokes are out drinking one night when one turns to the other and says, "You know, I don't know what else to do. Whenever I go home after we've been out drinking I turn the headlights off …

I bent my Zed on Saturday (15/03/2003) :0( I was pulling out from a side road (standing start), turning right onto a main road in Bristol. The zed decided to amuse itself by turning an extra 180 degrees and move back across the road, much to the surprise (and subsequent demise) of an oncoming car. Both cars were pointing in the same direction when they collided at no more than walking speed, so nobody was hurt in the slightest. The other chap's car is probably a write off. I am waiting to hear from the assessor what is to become of mine. Both cars were towed from the scene, so I do not have any gory picture to post. The visible damage was : Passenger s…

Picked my car up from Duff's on Sat, battery was flat so we charged it & started 1st time. Noticed that the brake fluid resevoir was empty so was bit pissed off that we'd have to bleed brakes but no major issue. Started bleeding brakes this morning but couldn't get any decent pedal feel so it looks like the master cylinder is fooked. Had to wait 3hrs for a AA van because after specifically telling the it needed a flatbed, they first sent a tow truck. Left Duff's at 17:30 - got home at 21:00 The thing that is most annoying though - I paid £250 for 3months insurance just so I could drive the Z back & ended up getting towed anyway :( FFS

It's good to know that some pilots have a sense of humour. Here are some conversations that airline passengers normally don't hear. The following are actual exchanges between airline pilots and control towers from around the world: While taxiing at London Gatwick, the crew of a US Air flight departing for Ft. Lauderdale made a wrong turn and came nose to nose with a United 767. An irate female ground controller lashed out at the US Air crew, screaming: "US Air 2771, where the hell are you going? I told you to turn right onto Charlie taxiway! You turned right on Delta! Stop right there. I know it's difficult for you to tell the difference between Cs and Ds, but get i…

LOL Was wondering how long it would take ;) Pulled up at a set of lights on a dual carrageway and a modded Cav pulled up next to us. I wasn't interested till I saw three baseball caps looking at us ;) When the lights went my girlfriend put her foot down fairly hard. Upto 70 the Cav was nowhere in sight so she indicated left and pulled into the left hand lane slowing to 45mph. 5 or so seconds later the Cav screamed past us at about 90mph and carried on down the road. Why??? I can't understand why he took that long to catch up, infact we had slowed to approx half his speed when he overtook :p But he still carried on by himself, as if he's tr…

On a typical A road, cars usually travel 60MPH or above, and frequently they pass quite close. Say 2 cars travelling on a road like this were doing 60 MPH and they crashed head-on (ie. 120MPH impact). If all passengers/drivers were wearing seatbelts, what do you think the chances of survival are for them ? this is a serious question.

There are times when a zed comes in the workshop that merits particular mention the next two pics are of one of those, this car is as mint as they come and the owner should be proud of what is a 12 year old car and he has put the effort in and deserves to be mentioned, makes you feel all warm inside eh?
