General Discussions - Non 300ZX

My Zed's been off the road for 6 months, the Tax expired on the 31st of March 2003. Although the car was registered in my name at my CURRENT address I received no reminder form as I usually do. I taxed it last week and would you believe it - the F*CKERS have sent me a fine for not filling out a SORN for a mere 8 weeks. The F*CKERS have had £89 for a car that's been off the road and now they want MORE. Does anyone know a way around this - it's not the money, it's the PRINCIPLE. Many Thanks Shaunmac.

Following on from a few others that have noticed that this forum is turning to shite due to the level of hostility and/or boredom, I am a firm believer in reporting in positive results from work done on my Z if it can benefit others. Mine failed it MOT last week so booked it in to Zedworld for today. I turned up, Jeff worked his usual magic and saved me over a £100 in parts. The bit that I want to let you guys know about is the fact that I had a loose N/S rear wheel bearing. Jeff gave it a good turning and hey presto, no play. I spent too much time on this game, that my flat screen keeps getting screen burn of the icons on the screen. Its not so bad for a TFT as they dont burn forever if its only light. Turn the screen off for a day and the burn has gone. I need help to stop playing on it. Any suggestions on what else I can do which is free. Stuart!
