Coming back from dropping my insane American friend off at New Street Station to get her train, turned off the Stratford road to go the back way home to Solihull and saw a charcoal grey Z appear behind me. Gave him/her the thumbs up out my window (cheesy I know, but at least its better than the weird VW wave it was obligatory to do when I owned a Beetle!). They followed me for a minute before honking their horn and turning off...so...anyone on here?:p Friday.

Anyone using them - just bought some transmission and engine oils. You send them a sample of engine oil before you change it and they analyse it and build a profile of your engine from the oil degradation. Not sure I care much for that part of the service but was wondering if anyone is using their oils in their Zeds. Seems to be highly respected lube. Cool, you could send them fresh oil for a year and when they send you a report saying your engine is A1, bingo, your zed goes up in value 70% LOL ;) Peace out folks, Glen

How often do you defragment your disk. I have ommited to do this for about 6 months and it has taken 4 hours so far! (10GBy data). I am using the inbuilt W2K defrager, what do other use? Is it quicker! Thanks

Because of the hot weather I decided to install the system monitor on two of my computers. Both are running at between 45 C and 55 C depending upon usage. Does this seem hot - about right or cool?? Alsoon my old '98 machine the system monitor included a "Soft Cooler" which when activated reduced the cpu temperature by 5 C - how does that work?? Extra wait or no operation instructions?? The voltages were unaffected!!

Got a chance to drive a TVR Tuscan this evening.. Totally fantastic!!! I've always liked the look of them, and it sounded so fookin sexy.. My mate blasted it up to 135mph (on a private road of course) and it got there in no time. So I jumped in, pulled up to a junction, and stalled it half way across!! (it was quite embarrasing as a couple of girlies had just noticed us, I'm such a tit!!). But after getting used to the clutch (very heavy) I enjoyed the drive, although i was a little worried about bending it round a lamp post!! I still love my 300, but if I had the money.... :D

The problem I faced was, no Zed no transport, and my wife was using her car every day this week and we go on holiday on Sunday. Then my m8 Vijay who lives close to AndyDuff said he could pick up Aarons rad, (that was with Mr. Duff) and bring it down to me on Friday, so problem sorted. Picked my 300 up from Peters this Saturday and what can I say I am one very happy bunny ;) Peter has done such a superb job, eventually went for the wide arse with wings west rear bumper, no spoiler, 99 perspex cover and 99 rear lights. Also got veilside skirts that Peter has blended in so well to the wide arch. Finally bonnet buldge and 99 front with vented nose panel. All this with Antera 309s - 10x18 ® and 8.5x18 (F) The paint job is outstanding, I have already had someone call it a ferrari lol :D Sorry no pictures yet, hopefully a mate will take some tomorrow night and I will post them asap. B*****d s***t! Due to the fact that the Estates department of Bangor University failed to carry out it's duties, my car has suffered the consequences! About 6 months ago, a slate fell of a buiding across from where I work. They cordoned off an area as it was obviously unsafe. Since then, some idiot has removed the cones that were there despite the fact that the roof hasn't been fixed. Of course I wan't aware of this so I parked in a designated parking space as one would. I missed the Z's at Pease Pottage, the guys just pulled out of the car park as I pulled in to the other side. Big traffic on the M25. Just phoned the insurance company regarding the instalation of a boost controller and asked how much extra to add this to the car and to my suprise they have said nothing , they will just raise the excess from £300 to £500 (I can live with that):D :cool:
