General Discussions - Non 300ZX

Morning all! My trusty old PC has become decidedly less trusty over the past few months and I now spend more time rebooting than booting my Zed. Have decided to save up some money and buy a new PC in the coming month(s) but would like to ask any of the forum's resident IT/PC gurus for purchase advice. This is what I'm looking for: - minimum 2.4MHz processor (preferably AMD Athlon XP) - 512MB RAM (expandable to 1GB) - 80~120Mb HDD - CD/RW drive (not bothered about DVD drive but if included in a package must be separate drives) - 64~128MB Grafics card (not bothered about TV-out) - reasonably good sound card (don't need any speakers, etc) - multiple USB…

That was a close one. Car is at Zedworld, and the worry about the engine must have got to me. Could have been the heat though! Almost considered selling it and getting a... NA Supra. Think I need a lie down. :( Before getting ready for the respray and 99 facelift kit. :)

I watched Thames Valley's finest try and find a 3 cars (yes 3) with the tracker system............ First off they got a signal of one that had been reported stolen, phoned Tracker and confirmed it was a Porsche they were looking for, then another 2 cars one a Range Rover and I didn't see the other. They then went back to the station to fit all the ariels to the cop car so they could use the Tracker signals, then they went looking............ They drove round for a good 2 hours (As far as I can remember!) and all they could do was complain that the radio signal was bouncing of the buildings and that they couldn't tell where it was, IMHO that's not good at all....…

Considering it was planned in less than 24 hours it was a good little meeting. 5 Zs arrived. AdamR, Scoops, DaveW, SRRAE (me) and Graham S made a nice late arrival. Here are the pics. since installing broadband my outlook express has lost the ability to send messages, i still recieve them ok but cant send. If i go to my isp homepage , log in and acess my email account that way I can sent mails, it just wont through outlook. Any ideas? I've checked all the settings and they seem no different from before so whats happened? any help would be great , cheers
