Decided to have a go at fixing my peeling dash today, so removed my defroster guides, glued it up nicely and then when trying to wedge it down I slipped and cracked the windscreen!!!:cry: Ohh well, insurance co have sorted another one out and they're coming tomorrow. It's a UK one but don't really care.

I know it should be in the other forum but this is urgent. I can get hold of two, cheap 255/65/18 goodyears for the back of my zed. The trouble is that it's currently got 265/35/18 'near slicks' on it... The wheels are 8's front and 10's rear, so the question is will the goodyears be ok???? Cheers for any help!! Hi Chaps, Not sure if anyone will be interested in this or not, but I've just started a new site... I know people love posting pics of their cars, so I thought I'd create a gallery system enabling people to register and upload pics. Its very very basic at the moment, but if there's enough interest then I'll enhance it a lot more, for example the ability to record car modifications, 1/4 mile times and stuff. We could then perhaps have performance league tables etc which would be especially interesting if various clubs join in. I do like a joke but this is a serious post! Found this on both my home and work pc. It has a teddy bear icon. Go to "find" and tap it in, if it finds it, obviously don't open it-just highlight it and delete it! It lays dorment for a few weeks and then does it's stuff apparently. A few days ago, I had a classic woman driver come in the shop (quite fit too!), and bought herself a set of 14" wheel trims. Today she brings them back to get a refund, cos when she went to put them on she couldnt fit them, turned out she had alloy wheels!!!!:D Made me laugh anyway!!!!

Hello all, Am looking to buy a new PC in the next few months and would like to get an AMD XP Athlon model but the MHz ratings are very confusing (and so far nobody has been able to give me a difinitive answer). Can someone tell me what the Pentium MHz equivalents are of the following AMD Athlon chips: 3200 3000 2800+ 2600+ 2400+ I've been told that the 2400+ is the equivalent of 2.0MHz P4 but due to the architecture it should be faster ... Hi all, I have just reformatted my hard drive etc, and now windows will not allow cookies. This is straight from loading windows (98se) I have checked the menus and it says cookies are allowed but still they are not. I have left the security at windows recomended, ie medium I think. And there are cookies placed in the cookies folder, but they can not be SEEN by any web sites, inc this one and I have to log in every time. Any ideas please.
