HI, As things are getting a bit dark early on now, I have started to notice the lack of light down the workshop!! Have got a few plug points down there, and for the short time we have left, I would rather use these and have something portable! So what are the choices and where do I get them from?

Saw an ad for ceramic after market discs by Tarox. They look like they have little segments of ceramic set into the casting. Says also that you have to use their sintered pads. Anyone tried em yet? http://www.tarox.com/english.html Also a faq section here Looks like they dont have em for zeds yet unless you buy their big brake mods.

Because a lot of other drivers cars seem very attracted to it at the moment. Twice in the space of 3 weeks, my car has been hit. Once by a dozy driver who hadnt cleaned their windscreen, and therefore didnt see that small car parked on the road. The second was about an hour ago, when a bloke in a citroen thought 3 metres was sufficient stopping distance in the wet at 30 mph. I am not a happy man.

Love or hate him?? I think there was a reference to him in the Max thread about anti-Jap car snobbery (can't remember exactly)....... ......Anyway, talking of the devil, I was in a bookshop today and I saw a copy of Jezza's 100 best cars of all time. I had a brief thumb through it and amids the usual Italian or German (No 911 though) suspects, right in the middle of the book was.......a 300ZX twin turbo:D :D Apparently he had nothing but praise for the Z32:cool: Maybe he's not so bad after all:p Richard

Is this car likely to have been any good? There are always a fair few of them on eBay, but are they likely to be any good? Did this guy get a bargain, or is it just some shoddy crap? Would you risk it? What do you think?

Spoke to warranty company this morning and they said; 1. The oldest car on their books is 1987, they have no problem in covering as far back as 1989 for our cars. 2. Covering high mileage cars is no problem, I said some can be as high as 130,000, no problem he said. 3. A combination of 1989 and 130,000 miles is not a problem for cover. 4. The only things that are not covered are 'servicable items' such as tyres, wiper blades, brakes, filters, belts. 5. Everything else is covered, and he means everything. 6. The claim limit is decided by the value of your car, i.e. your car is worth £5,000 then that's your claim limit. 7. Servicing is a m…

I have found the co. that made my nice Blue hoses for my Nissan 200sx. The place that got them for me let it slip. I have rang them and they do all the usual colours plus dull and shiney. i.e. they actualy make the hoses! They have never done them for the 300zx but can use my old hoses to fabricate off. Once I have prices for N/A and Turbo'd I will post in the Traders section. I actualy found the quolity better than Samco!! They are nearly twice as thick. LIke me:D

For anyone who watches the show, there will be a live showing tonight between 09:00 and 00:30. Cerina has booked us tickets to go and see it so we will be in the audience. I've had a bet with a friend at work that if I get any airtime as the camera scrolls I'm going to pretend to freak out in the audience for a laugh, I'll probably get a slap form the missus and thrown off the set but what the hell, it's all part of the fun.
