Love or hate him??

 

I think there was a reference to him in the Max thread about anti-Jap car snobbery (can't remember exactly).......

 

......Anyway, talking of the devil, I was in a bookshop today and I saw a copy of Jezza's 100 best cars of all time.

 

I had a brief thumb through it and amids the usual Italian or German (No 911 though) suspects, right in the middle of the book was.......a 300ZX twin turbo:D :D

 

Apparently he had nothing but praise for the Z32:cool:

 

Maybe he's not so bad after all:p

his reviews suck, he is full of crap, he doesnt know what he is talking about, but hes still a funny guy, which is why I watch Top Gear every week.

Think he's a tit, but he is really funny and very quick witted.

It was more of a general reference about Anti-Jap snobbery as it goes .. but I think he certainly *was* one of the leading protagonists, never quite sure what he's gonna say next! :mad:

 

However, despite this particular strain of ignorance, he is still a personal hero of mine - not so much on an automotive front, but I certainly share a lot of his views on non car-related issues, such as political correctness etc, and I think he's a brilliant writer. I have many a good laugh at his collected writings from the Sunday Times that I've got a book of.

 

At the end of the day, he's an intellegent guy, and he makes me laugh! :D

He's really the product of his own early sucess on the original top gear. People liked his irreverent quotes and the fact that he did reviews on all the hot cars.

 

Now, of course, he's more full of irrelevant quotes, but you still have to watch top gear to see the hot cars!

 

Can't think how the other T*ssers on the show got their jobs though - I suspect that Jezzer is the best driver ofthe lot - and I was half expecting him to be on the CELEB version of britains worst driver (or has he fallen out with Quentin over something!??)

Coem on guys, give him credit where credit is due. He is amusing. Forget what he says, 'cos there nothing ever funny about saying a car is good.

 

Let's have a poll. Who on this forum wwould come up with the same carp for the amount of money he get's paid. I for one would. Call me a whore, but I like the better things in life :)
