  2. When you get down to the block, there are little oil feeders which squirt oil up underneath the cylinder onto the block. I have a service manual but its for the US ZX and thre is no mention of them in the book. Are these UK specific or have they just for got to mention them in the book?

Hi Stuart Can I ask a favour and post you some pics (on CD) that you might want to share with the forum ? It's only me and my Z at Brands Hatch but it was such good fun that hopefully it'll persuade a few others to take to the track. Unfortunately I don't have an ability to host them anywhere. If that's ok can you email me your address ? mbaigent@gnseurope.com Thanks Mark

Now I have done the white rear light conversion and have bolted them into the car I just thought I'd show yuo what they look like. I think thy look great, my only downside is when you indicate the orange bulb only lights up some of the white strip not all of it - but then Im not really bothered too much about it.

I watched the whole of this episode and thought it was one of the most touching things I have ever seen. I have undertaken sponsored events for DEBRA before and would like to again. We on the supra forum are going to collect donations from members, just wondered if you lot would do the same. The man, Jonny deserves respect in all that he acheived in his torturous life, and anyone else that felt moved by that programme should make a donation to his charity. If what it says is true, them I'm interested, it boasts a 10% increase in power and 70% better emissions, so if I remove the cats from my NA I should have a sizeable increase in power - and it costs £99 and they said it lasts for 30,000 miles... Got to be worth a go. ...any one got any experience of this product? I believe it's been out in Canada for a few years.. cheers Jack http://www.ctech3000.com/

Since I bought her a year ago, I've only ever filled her up with 97+, sometimes using octane booster on top of that. She's always run really well on it, so I've never thought to change to somethiong different. I drove down to North cornwall over the weekend and managed to forget that 97+ is almost unheard of once you leave the A30. I had to fill up on regular 95ron, much to my concern. Imagine my surprise when she actually feels more responsive! She's running so well in fact, that I filled up again on 95 on purpose. Question is, if it safe to do so, or does the enigne actually need 97-98 for long term benefits? Thanks for your thoughts, Ch

Starting to put the engine back together now as all the parts have arrived :D The crank is back in and it spins really smooth and easily. Its amazing how perfect it fits. If you dont have it perfectly level when you are putting it in, it doesnt go in. Have to make sure you tighten the bolts up in the correct order and dont put it at the full torque straight away. We did it in 4 stages. Also put the pistons on the conrods. The rings will go on tonight probably. The hardest part was getting the little retainer pins out and back in. Most of the gudgion (spelling) pins went in very easliy. 1 or 2 where a little harder and needed to be pushed more. If peo…

Hi all, Having met up with a fellow z owner last night and seen his wheels, I've realised that I really need a change. I was thinking of these. They looked really good on his z and I love the style. What do you think? By the way, my 17's are now up for sale at £500. Ch ;)
