Hi Guys Just thought I would drop u's a line to show the latest pix of Richard Allcocks Wide Boy Z :cool: Its just had its retrim and has come back to the Ice Works for the completion of the install - basically all the fiddly bits and finishing touches :hyper: So here is a couple of pictures as a taster. Who's ever done this then: ? Enjoyed the sunshine with roofs off, got to work and looked like black clouds so thought better had put the roof on, popped the boot, bent in to grab the first roof and CRACK! Smacked me head right on that pokey out bit on back of tailgate. Shite that hurt! :mad: Still on a good note, my head hurts so much now, I've forgotten all about my stomach ache. Thinking that I may have to sell my Zed TT. Will have to sort the coil pack connector and have the leather put on the drivers seat first. Dont wana sell her, and it's not that she's costing me loads of money, but I'm racking up more and more bills (not for the Zed) and the only disposable money I have is in the Zed :( The thing is when I brought her, I had the money, but now money is getting tight and it looks like I'll have to part with her, then maybe look at getting another one when I can afford it..........This really pisses me off :mad: , but then I always said that if I had any money problems, then i'd sell her. just looked at Autotrader prices and they ask at least £1k more than on there, yet cars here tend to hang around for ages unsold. :rolleyes: wonder y this is ? a good 300ZX is such a bargain !! :shock: nothing comes close for the money.

Long long day today, early start left Manchester 03:30am this morning, travelled to pickup bumper from Ryan (Nr Newbury), then all the way upto PPS in Sunderland to drop it off with Peter. Then back home to Manchester. 640 miles travelled, home for 16:00. Knackered. Thanks to Ryan and thanks to Peter for the advice and chat. Barry.

If you were going to use your Z purely as a track car, would you bother insuring it if it was to be immobilized(physically i.e. wheel off or parts missing) on your drive way. Would there be any point? Can't think of any decent reason - what about you lot?

hi all, well someone made me a silly offer in cash for my zed and i decided to sell it, a new era starts and a interesting window opens to go from a auto tt to a manual tt, im hoping to find a good zed manual tt with lot's of extras ive advertized in the wanted section for one, but if i don't find a good one im consider moving to one of the following, skyline GTR TT v-spec supra tt JZ rx7 TT any comments are welcome and feedback on the above will be well noted, ive started to look tonight properly, but i car'nt seem to give up that old love for the TT zed. cheers all Jim

I'm borrowing one at the mo... (company car before anyone asks why I'm ragging a mate's car) It's odd getting used to a peaky NA after driving the Z and a TDI for so long... but good practice for the RX8 arriving. :D Anyway, it's not a bad engine at all, I was pleasantly surprised - anyone know the figures? I'd guess about 150bhp but it's all power - you have to stir the gears to make progress. Not mine! My brothers been told his brake discs AND pads are illegal and have failed his MOT on them - I have my doubts - can you fail on them if they are providing the correct braking force and its even?

Been having such good fun in me new zed for the past 4 months, I have only just got round to using that cruise control thingy. Its quite cool trying to get the knack of driving it without the accelerator - instead just using the controls on the steering wheel. Not too great for the M4 on the way home rush hour. Anyone else love their cruise? Daft question I know, but I'm bored at work. p.s. can you up the speed? I cant get the cruise to go past 70mph. Probably the jap setup I guess.
