having my front and rear screen removed for spraying the car, the man from anglesey windscreens used to do all the work on the mazda 323 turbo rally car, so very soon we were chatting about the raised boost in my zed, i told him it was raised from standard 9psi to 13.5psi. what he said was if your in first gear flat out no mater for how long the temp in the turbo wouldent go above 300 degrees, for second no more than about 400 and 3rd about 500 but when in top gear he said the heat would carry on building up like a compressor cos the car is under load and if its going to go bang it will be this time flat out in top gear, intresting cos mine …

Finaly sorted the pics of Japfest,great turn out nice to meet all those there,me and Donna set off at 6.15am and arrived at 8.15,great run down,the Z ran perfect,weather was very good but chilly at times,good selection of Z's so many 350Z present,never seen so many in one place,apparently they are now the most prominent Z in the country now!!,big thanks to Suzy(ZCLUB.NET)for the organisation and the Gazzebo/tent thing with the tea/coffe and biscuits.Great track action this year,far more on track than last year but missed the Z's in the afternoon as we had to leave at 3.30pm,did anyone get any vids of them?.Next day was up early for Santa Pod,god was i knackerd sunday nigh…

T-Bar sections - Rubber Starting to crack! Is their any tape that is good to put over the edges of the T-Bar section? Do new rubbers cost a lot? I have highlighted in yellow the areas that need help, any ideas would be welcome. Thanks :cry:

Absolutely gutted :( Just shunted the zed. I went into the back of someone on the motorway today, the usual palava, everybody suddenly brakes for some unknown reason :mad: further up the queue and I got caught out. Couldnt go left or right as there was a car alongside me and the central reserve on the other side. Hit the cars left hand rear, my right side front. I'll post some pictures up later when my camera has charged with a plea for advice :) Reckon its repairable but I dont need this :( It still drives, after I freed up the LHS intake hoses. Will need new bumper, headlight, foglight, wing, bonnet, and some work on the cross member above the headlight, …

OK lets see if we ca get this without a war. :( There are 100s of parts and gadgets out there for your car, and I am sure most are to catch the punters more than to actualy help the car. so. Question? What parts truly make the car perform better (are the best) in these 3 catagories. Make it go like stink. Make it stop like (ahh my nose is broke) And make it corner like its a slot car Come on guys, think, if ya had to make the car perform in thoes 3 areas, what would you need to have :bow:

Changed the PCV Valves and all the hoses at the weekend (fun job not) anyway my valves were all ok so if anybody wants the old ones there welcome to them FOC

Just thinking about the engine for sale....... Any ideas on cost for a rebuild, new parts like pistons, cams, crank, rods, bearings etc. Cost of refurbing the tubs ? Or just get some new bigger ones ? Mark

Cheers fella much appreciate your work yesterday!! :D Had the Z chipped yesterday, old one out and custom one in........ .....Scary point was the one that came out was labelled up 'Prima' on the top and this was on a piggyback board which was labelled up 'Super Chip'. From memory super chips are a bad thing (still true??) Anyway the Z seems much, much better through the range although the boost tops at roughly 13psi on a stock boost gauge!! (off the scale and then some on the old chip) power delivery seems good right through to the top now. :D John you have PM (why do people put that?? Anyway..:)..) Cheers again bud. Matty.
