Its not fair the fact I have to pay more tax than my fiancée in her C1 £20 per year. She uses the car all the time and must wear out the highway more and generally must take up more resources than my car and create more pollution 'overall' . Fair enough if I used it as often but I don't. :cursing:

The joy of modern V8 techonology, having run a V8 Rover 3500se in my "younger" days and the gas guzzling antics, with a steering issue wanting to pull left at every petrol station its maddness how engines are so much better now. On a quiet bit of PRIVATE road a quick snap of my dash shows the rev counter just a tad under the 2,500rpm and the petrol mpg meter on the bottom right a tad over 30mpg...crazy, yes I was in 6th gear but a squirt of the pedal and she pulls like a train 6th gear or not, working out the revs per mph if the 150mph rev limiter was removed  and if you could pull enough air, in the top speed would be impressive.. Just had an old episode of Top Gear on and they were road testing some cars, what I noticed was they were talking to each other on CB radios whilst driving. Is this not the same as using a mobile phone while driving or are they different some how?

As some of you may have seen, our son Jamie was born on 29th February, exactly 2 months early as he was due 29th April! He's still in the neonatal unit at the hospital, but we are hoping to have him home within the next few days! He's still so tiny, but he is doing really well and suprising the doctors and nurses with his progress. This week he has a half page feature in the local paper, and heres the online version! The picture of him is great but the we hate the one of all of us lol :( feel free to click 'like' or recommend at the bottom of the page :) http://www.thisislincolnshire.co.uk/Baby-born-weighing-just-3lbs-13oz-reunited/story-15658603-detail/story.h…

Hey all, i have a Renault clio 1.5 dci 65bhp, which has done 120k miles. When i first bought it, it started smoking quite badly (white smoke) and i managed to find out the turbo was done for really, so i replaced it and the smoking problem was resolved, for a while, but the mpg problem wasnt. Now 2 months have passed and it seems it maybe arising again, during daylight there isnt much smoke but when i put my foot down for the first time after starting up the ammount of black smoke that comes out is unreal, after that it wont do it again, but during night time i leave a trail of smoke wherever i go when im on boost and the more load on the engine (i.e. hill) The …

Nottingham county councel are introducing a parking levy to enable you to park at your work place !! it,s their way of raising money to extend the tram lines . Now where i work is on a cul-de-sac and there,s only three buisnesses there so not a major road by any means ,they say we can only park 5 staff cars on our premises after that anybody else has to pay £20 a month !! now most of us park on the road so it,s not really gonna effect us .. we thought , we,ve now heard there going to put a yellow line down the road and you can only park if you buy a permit and guess what they,re £20 a fooking month :taz::taz: Seems like the honest hard working employee just gets screw…

If I'm conducting work, attending meetings or giving a brief I obviously wear a suit which kind of stands t…
