I swapped my beloved NA today for a boring boring boring deisel MPV. I couldn't bear to watch people come and tyre-kick so I part-exed it for £3100, which could have been worse I suppose. I keep looking out the front wanting to see my zed and it's not there. Sniff. I will not be able to stand life without a decent car and will soon be looking for a TT or another manual NA. Once I get money sorted out again I will be looking again - it was a fantastic car. I aggreed a part-ex, and the car promptly died on me. Turned out to be the PTU. Thanks to Jeff for the diagnosis over the phone and the part which saved my bacon as the car was due to be handed over two days la…

Well I have to express my opinion of Nisstechs customer service and there ability to perform even basic observations of goods sent out (when they eventually manage to) to customers. My present experience would only suggest that these people shouldn't be let loose to sell parts for a tricycle never mind parts for high performance cars. At last my patience has run out as in the world I live next week actually means next week, however for Nisstech (S.E. Silvia/ N.E.) (I think I understand the ever changing trading names) it means at least 6weeks. Also I'll definately ring you back means that he'll definately ring me back. I'm sorry we've sent the wrong par…

I've looked on here and done several searchs using their last three trading names using three different search engines and can only find my own previous post.

 :( :slap: :nono: After 16 years of driving I finally get my 1st ever speeding ticket. The rozzers got me with one of them mobile money making vans a month ago on the Kings Road, Reading. I do remember the day too, I saw a nice gap ahead in the traffic and the old duffer in front was plodding along at 20mph or something like that, so I blipped the old zed pedal and whizzed past a couple of cars in the right hand lane and then saw the camera van- it must have been at least 150 yards ahead, so banged on the anchors and assumed I got away with it. But them new van cameras must have some fancy zoom lens! So beware lads. They got me at 48 in a 30 w…

Hi guys, well as you may or may not know I've had my Zed for well over a month now, and have found in that Month that the performance of this car far exceeds safe use of it's full potential on public roads. This being said I started to think about getting the beast to a track and let it's hair down. Then I thought; "What a perfect idea for a meet" I don't know whether this has been done before, but personally I'd love to get some good video footage of the event (already planned out, I can edit etc.) with stats and names overlayed, lap times etc. for those that want to take part ;) Well, I'm throwing the idea out there, I can organise it if you want or if you have a s…

Had a trip over to QVR today to pick up some surplus bits that I'm selling and finalise a few things...and bearing in mind it only went in on Monday the Zeds already looking amazing! Lambo lights are in, sideskirts fitted (not smoothed in as yet) and the dent on the rear quarter from the accident has completely disappeared. The 99 spec front end is still to be modified (time consuming) and a few other things need to be done then phase one is complete...smooth...in more ways than one ;) Got to say the Lambo lights really improve the back, very impressed! :hyper: Leigh

Hiya guys Please can anyone contribute to this issue so I can get a general opinion on what to do. A while ago I bought a second hand boost controller off ebay it was advertised without solenoid but it was stated I could expect to pay about 80 pounds or thereabouts for one including the loom. So I snapped it up at £120 (blitz dual SBC). I then found Blitz wouldnt supply spares without a receipt, however after weeks of digging I eventually decided to ask on the forum and I was immediately and very gratefully supplied one by Kirbz (I should have done it sooner), so I went back to Blitz, now they tell me they will supply the parts but the solenoid on its own is £160 …

Hi All, Still pop back from time to time and just wondered how many others are still around from the good old days when I had a Z ? Most names are new to me but good to see that Ian is still appearing on most threads. Appears to be also trying to pull a Nico with the 'car off the road' record. Did Craig go to Billing ? He was trying to get me to go and I was tempted. Maybe next year. Cheers Dave P.S. I've moved up market now and have two cars. In addition to my Pajero, I have an '86 Micra in matt blue. I'm probably going to get rid of the Pajero though and get an omega estate. So come and have a good if you think you're 'ard enough.

Going back to my old thread http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=34890 Well been in court as they said the blank gun was prohibited cos it can disscharge noxius liquid or gases. The judge was a big gun nut and when he heared the charge said "but blank guns are fine to own??" After being adjourned for two hours was called back to be given a £452 fine and a criminal record. So if anyone out there owns any blank guns, bin them cos even over the counter ones the police/government/courts like to make a big thing of it to make it look like they are tackling gun crime. :xxx:
