I did 550 miles in the Z this weekend going to a mate's 30th birthday piss up in Wales. Filled up once at at 347 miles, put in 55 litres which is about 28.5mpg. I was pretty impressed. That was about two thirds motorway and the rest in towns / back lanes. My 200SX S13 would have only done about 30mpg on that trip.

Have been upped to a limit of 400 per a user. This is a bit of a test at the moment, Be careful managing them as I don't think it will really be possible to raise this limit again. (me waits for people to ask for 800)

Well, I me and the missus are defo gonna have another kid. I looked at 7 series bimmers, and decided after seeing / driving close up i didnt like em. Now i've decided on an M3, probably around an M reg, should be able to get one for similar cash to the Z I think. Hoping now to sell the Z for around 5kono then add a couple of k to it for the bimmer. I know you will all slag off the M3 more than likely, but for all the comforts and bits and bobs I think it will make a pretty good motor to shuttle me kids around in, so go on, what do you guys think (cue piss takers)!

Why is it, that any job you do on a Z is never as straight forward as you think? Been doing a few job's on mine for MOT, and it's been a ball-ache from day one. Rear brake pipe's, Normal car's, they just run along the axle, or along the chassis where it's dead easy to replace. The Z, to replace rear metal brake pipe's is major surgery, the rear suspension has to be removed, or you got no hope of getting anywhere near to where you want to be. Steering rack rubbers, any normal car, loosen bolt's securing rack, lift slightley, and replace. The Z, undo rack, undo engine mount's and jack engine up, undo front cross member, drop cross member, and then you can work on rep…

As all of you know, our man and good freind Chunk is going in for a major op within the next couple of days. Therefore, I would like to setup up a collection for Chunky Butt and present him with either a present for his Z, or the final amount so that he can do with it what ever he wants. Happy to take suggestions on this. For those of you that are interested, I am more than happy to organize and run this and would also be willing to discuss alternative options. In this instance, I don't particularly want to do it through Paypal because of their cut. However, I am more than happy to do it through my account. Hopefully, we will collect enough for me to do a r…
