 Does my heated rear screen wire directly to the battery ? My Zed let me down today for the first time  Now power  Took the van & when I got home jumped the Zed with it. Ran the Zed for 20 miles to charge it and see if it holds. Left the heated window on when I parked up last time and the seats does this drain the battery ? Also what should it Idle at 750 RPM at the mo is that ok. :duffer:

I now understand what they mean by that phrase!! My new supra is too extreme for me so i am selling!! dont get me wrong its a great car and better and worse in lots of ways to the zed but when in boost even at 80 mph it lights up the rear wheels thats extreme and the clutch is hard work too!! Tell you what though if i knew what i did now i wouldnt be going as far with my old zed!! 500 bhp is about right i think :) 600-700 is stupid........fun, scary but stupid. So if anyone wants to buy a potencial 10 sec 1/4 mile car then i am selling it Kirbz

  9. Thought I would try out the DIY 99-spec style rear lights. Did the whole putting them in the oven to heat them up for seperating..... hands are now burned and sore, but got there in the end. That Black tar stuff gets everywhere ! Ended up taking about 4 hours total in the end :( , as had loads of problems seperating them, and then getting them back together again. Pleased with it, massive improvement over the orange lenses. :) Pics below.

Has anybody ordered the above or know where they are available from as its Christmas and the wife just asked what I wanted :hyper:

  11. Started by RichardS,

Hi all Wife has gone to her works Christmas party, so I thought "I know, I'll watch a classic Bond movie - you know the old ones that were good, before they started making them for girls ;) ). " Anyway, kneeling down by the video I suddenly smelt gas.........It's coming from the pipe that sticks out of the floorboards and connects to the fire. The fire we haven't used in 7 years as we use the central heating. Feck it - phoned Transco emergency line, now I have turned off the gas at the main (so no heating) and opened the windows like I was told. No gas = no heating and it's cold......... Can't switch any appliances on or off either, just in case,…

Jock those red mirrors you were after, I never got the chance to take them off the spare red Z and I had to get it moved this weekend. I sold it to daviddent and he is gonna be breaking that red UK TT car so if you want any parts give him a shout. I'm sure he'll do them for the same money we talked about So now I'm back to one Z! the garage looks wierd now that it's empty!

Just like to say i kicked ones arse the other day, though they arn't slow, i even won the 50mph rolling start which was good. Just add it to my list of scalps. BMW 645i BMW M3 E36 Audi TT's Scoobies WRX's Toyota Supra NA (Bit unfair really but he started it lol) Matched and Evo 8 Mazda RX8 Civic Type R's Integra Type R's Nissan 350Z and beaten by a UK spec Supra Turbo. And the Testarossa bottled it lol. Wasted lots of other crappy cars...

Strange question but a bloke at work seems to do it loads. And plenty of other times he nips of to the bog to check and finds out he hasn't. I think it's generally when he's squeezing a fart out and he follows through a bit It seems to happen about once a month at the moment. I think the last time I did something like that was 15 years ago, running for the school bus and I had the runs anyway. Is he normal? Do lots of people do it but everyone (expect him) is too embarassed to admit it? (appologies to any ladies)

Now your a supra owner, I wondered if you could answer a quick question........... Why do Toms, Castrol, etc, take out the 2jz engines (like yours) from their jgtc supras, and replace them with 3s-gte engines (like mine, scoops, timmys etc). Is it cos your engines gayer than a hairdressers? Just curious
