Hi peeps, Can anyone help me regarding import duty? I am ordering some parts from the US that cost $129.99 (£68.56), and the 3-5 day tracked shipping costs $165 (£87.04) and I need to work out what other costs will be involved. I have been to the Customs and Excise site, but the .pdf I need won't download. I know some of you guys buy stuff from overseas, so can any of you throw some figures at me? I'd be very grateful :duffer: .

Looks like Bernie Eccleston has lost control of FOH (Formula One Holdings) which runs F-1. You reckon we've finally got rid of the poison dwarf, or that he's got something up his sleeve that will strengthen his grip on racing?

Carrying on from my earlier post regarding headlamps, I've come across this post through aus300zx.com regarding the headlamp adjusters. It's actually about dis-assembling the headlamp unit, but if you scroll half way down the page you'll see a good idea for fixing your broken adjusters. http://www.aus300zx.com/tech/headlight_disassembly/headlight_disassembly.htm Anyway, HTH

Known for a while that I have to do my best man bit next summer and was only mildly bricking it at this stage. But now another pal has also asked me to be best man in two weeks time  So tell me all your best tips and stories- good or bad- I can take it. Will of course be doing the honour of delivering the groom to the church in double quick zed time, so look out in a couple of weeks for a black zed with white ribbon bombing through Wantage.

What do you all reckon? Should I keep my Z or sell it, sell my ZX6R as well and buy a low mileage Elise? I rarely drive at high speeds (where the Z rules), never use my bike anymore, and want something more fun to drive. Much as I love the Z, it's cost me £5k to rebuild the engine, fit new turbos etc and I'm scared of something else major going wrong. What does everyone think? I could get £7-8k for the car & bike together, spend 10k on a 1998 30k miles Elise and aim to keep it for the next few years (i only do about 6k miles a year). Insurance wise, there's not much difference. I can't decide!!! Comfort and high power vs great handling, nippy speed…

of cars! Why does any job on a car always go tits up and never goes smoothly? Changing the springs / shocls on the car today and I didn't even do one! The lower ball joint pinch bolt that ataches the hub assembly to the lower wishbone was on solid, one of them stupid round bolts with a torque type head in the centre. So I lubed it up (ooo err) heated it up and gave a good tug (steady) to the point where the star shaped shit bolt rounded off. No chance of getting it out, tried from 3pm to 9:30pm and still not off. In the end decided to drill it only to find that I had no hardened drill bits and broke about 7 drills in the process and still couldnt get the ****ING…
