Since Suddesh's thread about favourites, I heard one of my most hated tunes earlier, Elton John's AWFUL 'are you ready for love' tune? This is probably the WORST tune IN THE WORLD. Aha! Not a restoration on the Z but these....... I plan on stripping them down and having the chromed pieces re finished and rebuilding with LED. They have neon tubes at present inside and on the rear to project ambient backlight onto the wall.

A good friend of mine owns an Aston DB6. It's a beautiful car and certainly no trailer queen. He goes to Sainsbury's in it and fetches the take away amongst regular use ! If ever ANY car gets attention its one of those (presumably most think its a James Bond silver DB5) He was telling me about a trip to Europe which resulted in a head gasket issue. He paid £14,500 for a head gasket replacement service !!! It currently requires a replacement front windscreen - but he daren't ask ! On the plus side he found out that the brake master cylinder - for which Aston wanted £,000's - is actually a Lucas part that was fitted to numerous contemporary cars and could be had for £…

Winter time can provide some crazy sunsets where ever you are but i could not ignore this Kodak moment on my late afternoon / early evening walk without taking some pics on my phone. Have you seen and what do you think of Volvo's turbo lag solution? They are using a small electric compressor to keep an air tank full, which then aids the exhaust in spooling when you would otherwise be getting lag. I can see how it will work but Jesus that will be complicated and prone to leaks and what not!
