General Discussions - Non 300ZX

I replaced the heater matrix about 2 years ago and for those of you who have done it you will know its a bitch, did it the long way aswell, took a good 10 hours! Just noticed my carpet was getting damp and on closer inspection, definitly the matrix, this was a brand new part from nissan FFS! Well i've linked the hoses for now, certainly dont have time to fix that at the moment. Not sure if its coincidental but I fitted a new copper uprated radiator recently, Could the aluminium heater matrix suddenly become a sacrificial anode? anyone else experienced this? Had the car years now and the first matrix lasted ages. All I seem to do nowadays is fix the Z! :he…

Hi All. Just joined up properly so I thought I'd introduce myself.. My name is Adam, I'm 25 and from Walsall in the West Midlands. My car is a 1992 TT Import in Pearl White with a Bomex front end. Not sure about the side skirts.. The car has a Revision 2 full leather interior. I'm currently running a chip with boost jets, everything else is standard. Ive just been to see a upholsterer while my car is in the bodyshop,and he says he can do the whole car in cream leather with orange piping and perforated seat center panels for £500 :hyper: I know this guys work he used to work for Rolls Royce in Crewe and he did my seats last time.Although now its being resprayed orange the yellow wont go :hurl: Ill post some pics when its done.

Pulled out of the car park after stopping to admire yamis car, went to go left, accelerated then the engine cut out and the steering went heavy so started heading towards the kerb. luckily hit the started button again and all was fine, but bloomin annoying. hope its just a one off and not my PTU on the way out.
