General Discussions - Non 300ZX

I want one of these (preferably the one on the white car) for my Z!! :rofl: :rofl:

I've had a Zed (Import TT auto) which cost me a lot of money and leaked oil on the drive and was sold for the wrong reasons, and I've also had a 200zx on which nothing went wrong but it was er... boring. I liked my MR2 (MKII)but that was 15 years ago and I'm a tad stouter now. Mid life crisis is arriving and I'm not enough of a nutter to get a bike. So I find myself with a bob or three in the back pocket and a hankering for a car that will kick me in the seat of the pants. Convertible or T-Top is preferred, a degree of reliability is hoped for, heaps of fun is a must. Should I get back into Zed ownership? It would be a Funday drive so is a TT the way to go …

I've not picked up a pencil since I was in school 15 years ago, but suddenly got the urge to do some drawings the other day. I was feeling creative and felt like putting a few of my bodywork modification ideas down on paper. Just scribbled this one of how my car looks at the moment, shame the front wheel looks like it hit a kerb!! :(

Chromed dashboard rings, can you do them yourself, or do you have to buy them? If so, how much do they cost? I think they give a quite nice look to the Z...

I just had a thought. (oh the pain). If we all put together a pertition to the govenment that if they dont bring down the cost of fuel we at 300ZX.co.uk will refuse to use our cars for a week I think they might panic. FFS we must contrinute to about 50% of the national usage with our gas guzzlers? :smash:

The first one on this page I know it has an oil leak, but apart from that and the paintwork would this be a good buy at £2000 or does the oil leak spell disaster? Ben

I'm looking to get new alloys but fancy som'in a little different. Found these and figured 6 turbo's got to be better than 2 :D :D But can I find anywhere that can do them??? NO :mad: Even tried a place in Brum that make them to your spec and they said "no mate can't do that design" Any one know a good place with a good range of choices that don't cost an absolute packet? My budget is up to about £1500 Mark
