I just had a thought. (oh the pain). If we all put together a pertition to the govenment that if they dont bring down the cost of fuel we at 300ZX.co.uk will refuse to use our cars for a week I think they might panic. My mate bought our old 200sx (s13) and we had it chipped with a boost controller boosting it from 7?psi to about 13psi. Anyway - his turbo gave out in the end so he removed the boost controller and bought a 2nd hand but good condition replacement turbo from another s13. Im sure he says he checked it and it was marked up exactly the same. Fitted it and its boosting at 12psi as standard without a boost controller now? Any ideas why it would be doing this as he was going to refit the boost controller but is now not going to bother? Is it just down to a very good condition turbo boosts higher than an old worn one? or do you think it maybe a hybrid Turbo or som…
