May have oversold this one a bit  I hit a mega pothole yesterday in my Accord. Check this bad boy out! It wasn't obvious that it was a bloody quarry before I hit it, in the the light and a shadow and what not. But hell it hit hard. I knew within 3 seconds it'd burst and pulled up and did a F1 grade space saver swap. I'm waiting at a tyre place in Shrewsbury atm, getting rid of the yellow wheel of shame. Which was pretty flat haha. But I found a petrol station within 2 miles. Hopefully I'll claim it back from Chester council. I'll let you know how I get on. Other notes, the car drove fine on the space saver, absolutely fine haha.…

The price of high octane for our Z's have shoot up again! Normal unleaded here is £1.27 and for the BP Ultimate which I always use was £1.38 on the last fill. Is it the same where you are? https://www.globalpetrolprices.com/gasoline_prices/

I've been helping a neighbour with his IS200 lexus. There was a scraping noise which I have found to be the disc catching the hub. I think someone has walloped the back wheel of a curb and bents things. But it could be a wheel bearing or an assembly mistake. It has done it for the r months he has owned the car. You can see the plate with the wheel studs on it is positively cambered. There is the scuffage. Please suggest which parts could be causing this. I couldn't get it off because my hub puller kept slipping. But I think it may be the shaft not the hub. I tried to reseat it too in case it wasn't on all the way.

So I had two large parcels to be sent out yesterday going to two very different areas of the country. The first going to the International Shipping Depo for Ebay and the other going a bit further down south. Today I received an email from my customer stating that parcel he received was not his; so much so that it never even had his name or address on it; Just a Parcelforce tracking barcode. The second parcel is now at some massive warehouse owned by ebay with no way to contact them they are not the named end party where the parcel is suppose to be going. Now trying to sort out this logistical nightmare with the couriers and the first thing they ask…

Short and sweet, my mate's rx8 has a traction control problem. If you turn left the tcs kicks in very easilly, under quick but totally legal driving and you can hear it, feel it and the light comes on. As part of the test drive I did with him, I went right at a roundabout at a startling rate and it didn't do anything at all, then as I turned left off it quite gently, full tcs event. No flat tyres. No smoking gun. Help me please with what people think it could be. All suggestions welcome. Thanks :)

As title - there is a classic car show at the IWM Duxford next Sunday..... https://www.iwm.org.uk/events/car-and-motorbike-club-visits-iwm-duxford ....Probably a little too late to book a club stand now (one for our East Anglia contingent to check, maybe; although I know Tony has stepped down as REO....); however as my Zed is still away, I cannot participate. But it does look a good day out - and since I am yet to visit the museum, it gives us a reason to go next weekend! Anyone else thinking about popping along....? Craig, Joel, maybe......?? Be good to meet up, if you are... Richard:thumbup:

I have just read an article in Modern Classics, that the Top Gear track at Dunsfold is being demolished to make way for a new housing development....! I guess it's in-keeping with the times. It was Jeremey Clarkson who once said, if Kent is the garden of England, then Surrey is its patio....

So I’m busy working away at Goodwood tidying up after the Members Meeting when I hear the sound of something interesting coming in to land. Out I rush to find these two bad boys land... I rush into the fire station and flash my fire ID asking how close I’m allowed to go. I get up to the concrete pad. Standing there gawping at these bad boys, snapping as many pictures as I can so show my boys when I get home when the pilots jump out. Sudendly im 5 years old again and I’m calling out to them asking if I can get closer. I offer to run them up to the old control tower for a drink, the main man up front and two guys on test a…

Last month it was winter, snow for days including the South West being hit by the biggest blizzard for years, took me 6 hours to do an journey that day and the meter deep snow drifts just hung about on the hills. I took this picture over the road from my house; A Month later and my van was indicted at 27c! A shift in temperature of over 30c peak to peak. Leaves on the trees and the wildlife doing what it does, today a very different view. - - - Updated - - - Bloody iPhone!

Hi everyone, not been on here for a long long time, hope you're all okay. I'd be really grateful if you could sign and share this petition for a friend of mine. It's about changing the law for hit-and-run drivers. https://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/make-it-mandatory-for-a-vehicle-s-keeper-to-name-the-driver-after-an-rtc-where-the-driver-has-fled Thanks guys, Dave

I have been aware recently that my ‘Green’ credentials were not particularly good  What with my daily driver being an ageing, polluting, £560 per year VED..…(but all together magnificent) Range Rover Sport ….coupled with my 300bhp 3.0 V6 Twin Turbo weekend car….my carbon foot print left a lot to be desired So after 4 years of ownership… (the longest that I’ve ever kept a car!)….I bit bullet and sold the RRS to buy a more environmentally friendly daily driver :thumbup1: So now I am the proud owner of a much more climate change friendly 3.5 V6 300bhp every day vehicle :smartass:

Hi folks, As in previous years, I am pleased to be running the club's Formula 1 competition - as per this thread: https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?188849-2018-Formula-One-Competition Ordinarily, with the first race this Sunday, any entries received after midnight Wednesday would be deemed late. However I would like to see a few more participants; and since those already signed up have shown great spirit, I am holding entries open until midnight Friday. There are Halfords vouchers up for grabs for the top three places at the end of the season - so what are you waiting for. Please get your names down and your entries in here (subbed members …
