go back to what i had before the 300.....a Skyline.

I actually work with Garys mum so i was going to get my igition harness sorted there (APT)till i done it myself.My Zeds black on Wolfrace alloys, lowered with pillar pods,and a large 300ZX sticker on rear window.You will recognise it if you see it.i was tempted to take a week off work and tackle the job myself,ive researched on the search function and noted some have attempted it..Any tips on how to do this at a diy mech?

thanks.Thing is i need a second opinion first.My old man says big end is rattling but my mate reckons nothing wrong with it.anyone know of a good mech in Norwich who could tell me yey or neh b4 i ship it off to Z tech?

I think i may be getting a big end rattle.even tho the engine was rebuilt 30,000 ago. Anyone got any idea of a price by a mechanic to change em?

I gave it a bit of ted on the way home from work just now and very impressed with my 300.spins up at whatever speed youre at!amazing.

Dont get me wrong the Skyline was a nice car but i still think its overated (well the gts) anyway.I would probably go back to a GTR tho im afraid to say.lol

My 300 tt Zed returns better mpg than my old Skyline Gts25t either on longs runs or round town

No other way Neil.Im going to try running on that Tesco 99Ron.I used to run the Skyline on Optimax.I think they sell it the bBue Boar Tescos.Any idea Neil?

Well it was an auto Skyline so fairly similar to the Zed just you couldthrow it into corners a lot harder an get away with it and massive turbo lag.nothing like the power of the zed tho.

Im in Costessey just out.Had the classic cylinder miss but working fine now.Connecter found its way undone on drive home from getting it.i was panicing at the time as you could guess

so theres a few about in Norwich then cuz tbh i havent seen many zeds about in Norwich.Alot of Skylines.main reason i got rid!

so much different to my Skyline and more attention while out and about.Best of both worlds

Ive got a J reg Fairlady Z twin turbo auto in black.just a powerflow cat back and induction.more to come when the weather improves..as ive already found out the 300 is lethal in standard trim

Just joined the forum,Just thought i would say say Hi and introduce myself.... Ive had my 300 about a week now and cant believe i didnt get one before. Previously i owned an R33 GTS25t and swapped it for the 300. lookin forward to going to some meets this year..
