Im in deliberation at the mo which way to go. Though the Ferrari tails look excellent im still trying to remain fairly subtle and try not to change the car too radically.I actually like the 80s 'retro look' standad tails but a 99 spec conversion would be best methinks-though if a set of ferrari tails came up cheap i would have them-i heard somebody sold a pair of second hand ones for 100 quid-i would have had them!

This sorta things seem o be occuring more and more now-I think hellraiser had his car tampered with the other day. KILL EM ALL!

I am a bit gutted about the fact my mate paid 2.5k for his and is in better knick than mine!But his is SILVER!lolThough now i find out his car is having problems-it wont start and only starts after 10 secs of turning over and hes well gutted.

they are fooked!Once they get cracked the frost gets in and its game over! Even more reaon to go for a 99spec or 4 ound light Ferrari conversion,currently waiting for my clear indicators,repeaters,and markers then decide what to do about the rears.

No fair play to him!Just my honest opinion thats all.When ihad my Mk1 Escort a few years back i thought they were the mutz.Since having Skylines and now the Zed i fallen in love with the Jap cars. Tastes and opinions can change and I can see myself in a Mk2 rally prepped Escy again in the future!

Yes of course i would never have another silver car again (opening a tin of worms lol) Black is by far the best colour even having to put up with my mates 'kitt' and Knight Rider ' jokes lol

I think a Sunday in April would be good.Gives a little bit more time for people who have had winter works done,more time for people for see the thread,more time for people to make arrangements (work,kids etc),weather should be better and i should have my clear indicators on all round by then lol. Got to find a venue with enough space for a few Zeds-and food/beverage facilities. The Cherry Tree (Wagon and Horses)on Dereham Rd could be good (I know some Golfs used to meet there but its been taken over by new management recently so will have do some investigation work.

The parts totalled about 160 quid and about 700 labour.If you can do it yourself then great but just think about he expense if the crankshafts knackered

Depends on the price you are getting the car for and if its worth the hassle getting it doneJust got mine done-Hell of a lot of trouble and expense,not really knowing if thats the extent of the problem,you could have the crankshaft damaged you wont know till the engines out. If i could go back in time i wouldnt have got the car ive got now. But its sorted now so fingers crossed!

Thanks mate,its the price that made me wary,however theres loads on the for about 25 quid buy it now. Just got to find some clear side indicators and also the little lights at the rear side of the car (i dont know what there called lol)

Why do Nissan arms go like that? My Skyline arms went exactly the same way.

Could be an idea to say Norfolk/Suffolk meet.I dont mind driving out a bit and if we get more interest it will make it more worthwhile.
