Going fishing tommorow for the first time since last autumn :hyper: Getting up at 5 to be at the lake for 6am-The fishery i go to you catch 3-5lb carp one after another all day long-you have to rest your arm sometimes! Sometimes you get smashed up by 15lb+ ones though i did manage to land a 12lb one last year on 4lb line lol. Cant wait-wahoooo! :hyper:

I thought i would spray it myself but i would never have done a decent job.By the time i sourced the paint and ot used to my spraygun its better off to pay someone who knows what they are doing.

yeah cheers mate- i thought about standard boost pressure would be enough so can hear any leaks with the engine off.

Got mine painted at a bodyshop who did a good job matching up the paint (cosmic black) im told. I had to trim a bit off my bumper but thats its be pretty much expected for a £100 bumper. Going to change mine for a plastic Greddy one day (if i keep the car that is) so not to bothered what happens to it really.

Got a boost leak detector arriving soon and i want to know how much pressure i should be putting in?Ive been told if you put to much in you can f**k the engine?

Yes that time that some owners get at some point-the dreaded "i think i might sell the z" has been in my head the last few days. The Z is a fantastic car but i want something i can tinker with if you catch my drift.i havent got the room and the knowledge to pull the VG30Dett (just to see how it works lol) I used to moan about always being under the bonnet of my MK1 escort 3 years ago but to be honest- i miss it. :( Not the Mk1 lol -just being able to pull an engine in a few hours and do everything myself. Ive got a Mk1 Eunos roadster sitting there unloved for the last 2 years with only 30k on the clock with an engine bay cleaner than what it was when it left the factory.Just the appeal of being able to set the car up for track by myself it very alluring. Please tell me im going mad :o

Bottom end rebuild mate-i told you that on Wednsday night when you asked what ive done to mine lol. My crank was okay though so didnt need a new one.

there are BE bearings AND main bearings as far as im aware. thats what it said on my invoice anyway.

im waiting for something i got off matty so i guess i will have to email him.

mains bearings? if the BEB's have damaged the crank you will need to have the crank reground resulting in one size smaller on the bearings. So you need to see the condition of the crank first as you may need smaller bearings to allow for the regrind. the set of BB bearings were £41.

Sounds like a warping mate mine have never been the same since i hit the lot at over 130mph on track of course lol)

I would say what does the datascan say? But thats a sore subject for you mate :cry: Only joking bud. sounds like a PTU/connector/coilpack fault. Only problem is finding it. i would start off with the connectors first before getting hold of a new coilpack to test yours
