my car is off the road at the moment-awaiting 3D allignment for the D2 coilovers ive just fitted-probably looking early June-midweek ok for anyone?

i thought it could be you-but remebered you didnt have exhausts like that. I havent seen this one around before. Im thinking of a GTOUK & 300ZX.co.uk Norfolk meet soon-meet up and see what each others cars are like etc I having owned both over the years-when we had 300zx.co.uk meets this time last year there would only be a few cars the same situarion is with the GTOUK Norfolk section as well-we could make up the numbers together maybe and would be god to meet up with Richard,Gaz and Neil again if they have all got zeds now?

I had just pulled over in my Pearlwhite GTO to drop somebody off near the sainsbury's in Thorpe when you came past...silver one with twin upswept DTM style exhausts anyone on here?

Its a shame because if this car had come up around January time i would have taken it straight away-cant belieive it has gone yet :shock:

strange thing is i was doing exactly the same thing this time last year with my old Zed-cycling everywhere while my car was done. the first place had it for 2 weeks then decided it was too much for them-Why didnt they tell me :rant: :rant: Then it was away for another 2 weeks when i found someone to do the bottom end. At least this way youre saving fuel!-lol

Well in the end the guy took the Zed how it was with the leak but I took some money off the price of the car-he had a mate who could do the work and was prepared to take it 'as is' and I couldnt afford to get the work done myself and find a new owner. Nissan got away with what they had done,i wasnt going to get anywhere without legal action that i couldnt afford and i had the option of the Zed going as it was- I vowed never to use them again (Id used Mazda in the past that have been great-and Toyota since and they have been even better) I then found out this had happened to my Zed... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=77511&referrerid=7579 And subsequently this... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=77865&referrerid=7579 By then Id had enough of all things Nissan and was glad to get out!I got the MKIV Supra NA... That ran that till December which was a lovely car-never cost me any money except rear tyres and a starter motor overhaul kit (which i rebuilt myself) and a Blitz Nur-spec exhaust that i got for the bargain price of £100!I then became bored of NA powerand started looking for another TT-I would have bought vai0's SWB TT Slicktop above when it was up for sale but couldnt afford it at the time so got a MK1 GTO TT-which has been been okay so far (apart from buying some un-nescessary bling!) I would love another Zed but it would have to be SWB TT this time,thats why I float on here occaisionally to see whats going on/whats up for sale.

That 5k youve got would easily buy a very good Zed from a member on here. Either break the Zed you have got now or sell it on for a loss.You may spending more cash getting that car right. As for the quote you have been given SWZ is a lot cheaper to get the work done-it would probably be cheaper to get the car low loaded there and have the work doen by a specialist than a 'normal' garage Just my 2 pence worth.

The best value one ive seen recently is the 1990 Swb 300zx TT Targa Auto in the for sale section. If hadnt have got my GTO thats the Zed i would have bought.

His plan is to get a GTO like mine Mk1 TT manual and fix the Zed in the meantime.Though i dont know what he's doing in regards to the engine-but he was a a RR day with it the other day???????????? i just hope for his sake he gets a good GTO/3000GT..thouigh im sure the GTOUK crowd would love his random posts.

Been away for a while,but thought id visit again to look out for a SWB TT Slicky as i might be tempted by one. Now got a GTO TT which im loving to bits though. Even the infamous 300zx.co.uk 'bird' has been on GTOUK recently :shock:
