  1. Hi Ed/Pablo, It was Duncan at Hypertech who gave me the names. Cheers, Colin
  2. Hi Ed, Try Clark Motorsport in Aberdeen, they do rally cars, or ASK Transmissions in Falkirk. Cheers, Colin
  3. Hi Ed, I'll ask around, there's a couple of Stock car guys locally that are always messing around with diffs (but probably just with a welding torch!). They might know someone up near you. Colin
  4. Sounds like a plan! I'd probably manage most of those except Billing - definately Crail in April and Glencoe. Does anyone know if Ed's still racing at Crail? I haven't seen him the last few times I've been there. Colin
  5. me too!
  6. Not bothered, if I remember rightly it only cost me £15 so buy me a pint!- I'll PM you with my address etc. Colin
  7. Hi Stu, As Alan says it's not that hard (on an Auto at least) just remember to take the seat out first unless you're a contortionist! It’s only 4 bolts and gives you much more room to work. I’ve got a matrix that’s been sitting in the garage for a couple of years – it's your if you want it. (I just ran an air line through it under water and no sign of any leak) Colin
  8. Hi Tam, You probably don't want to hear this but I followed you as far as the M876 turn off and was getting a really strong wiff of oil every time you put the boot down. Hope it's just that leak onto the exhaust. Cheers, Colin
  9. It's about an hour via either A68 or A7 so 10:00 should give plenty time. (I prefer A7 - less cameras!)
  10. I'm in Bonnybridge if that's handier for a lift - wife's off galavantin' in Italy with the mother in law (narrow escape there!) Colin
  11. Count me in as well. Colin
  12. I've known Duncan at Hypertech for years wouldn't trust anyone else in the area with my Z. Although he doesn't specialise in Z's he's worked on plenty on the area (there's 2 in at the moment) so probably knows them better than most. Colin
  13. Dick300 - Colin Dick - Bonnybridge Believe it or not the car went back on the road yesterday - not bad only 2 years this time!
  14. 'fraid so - just waiting for Duncan to find time to refit the engine. Hopefully it'll be back on the road for the summer. Colin
  15. Glasgow area, red 300, off the road nearly as long as mine! If you're on here (or anyone can pass this on) - Duncan has lost your email address due to a virus attack so could you get in touch with him. Alternatively you can PM me your email and I'll pass it on. Colin
  16. Hi Ronnie, You'd be better off upgrading the rad and using a separate oil cooler. (ie do away with the oil cooler in the auto rad) Colin

I've no idea whether they're still trading, but here's who I used back in 2002 :- Premier Wheels Ltd New Warehouse Crawford Pl Milnathort Kinross KY13 9XF George Shields - Premier Wheels - 01577 864100 - 0831303727 Excelent job - around £30 a wheel but probably more now. PS - they did my plenum as well for £30. Colin

Hi Ed - sorry to hear about the van but I guess you're more bothered about what was in the case. My car's still off the road so you can borrow my ECU for the USC if you want. (the chip was set up for my spec by John Dixon) Colin
  19. Hi Ronnie - welcome back! The car's off the road at the moment, having the engine rebuilt (cracked piston) but should have it up an running by the end of October. Re - garages, I've always used Hypertech in Bonnybridge. I've known Duncan for years and although he's not a Z specialist I know he looks after about 6 in the Falkirk area. For more the specialist work, like having the Engine rebuilt, I'm using Ryan at Ztech. Cheers Colin

Hi Ed, I didn't get a chance to speak to you before I left (you were over talking to the Irish drifters) - what happened on your run? Colin PS - good news on my block, only one damaged piston. Once I get it back I might just be able to persuade Leslie to let me run it before the end of the season.
