  1. Just read your post. One of the main causes for this to happen is the missing restrictors that are unforeseen due to them hidden well inside the PCV rubber hoses and intake cam cover breather hoses. I've come across this on VG builds which are getting quite common these days, and "normally" I see these missing from the left bank PCV hose that meets the exhaust cam cover due to people just fiting 16mm hose without pushing the restrictor back inside the replacement hose. The other issue is, without these in place, it can also pull a heavy vacuum and drag oil into the plenum. But it can also push boost pressures into the crankcase if your PCV valves don't seal well. With the restrictors in place, it slows the chances down. Here's a link that shows the restrictors. https://www.z1motorsports.com/z1-products/z1-motorsports/z1-silicone-pcv-hose-kit-twin-turbo-p-3726.html Maybe someone can explain this better, but it is easy to understand that without these, your engine will pull free flowing air straight into your plenum when you remove your oil filler cap or dipstick. Hope this helps.
  2. Hi, It's not often I ask for help, but does anyone have a spare TT flywheel kicking around and willing to sell and post out? Cheers, Richard.
  3. Hi, Has anyone got any seats in Leather or Valour they are willing to sell? I don't mind if they are leather and in need of repair, but would prefer no rips if valour
  4. Hi Guys, Anyone got an Import TT Front bumper they're willing to sell? Ideally in good condition, any colour but would prefer it in silver. Please PM me some prices and possibly collect from the Jap Show tomorrow :-) Cheers, Rich.
  5. Hi, Since I bought, I've since added 99 spec rear lights and centre, Brock B4's, 10x18 rear, 8.5 front, Mongoose exhaust, bought from Luke @ the Z centre. Upgraded head and slave unit to Kenwood. The bodywork is all original, paintwork is untouched. When I bought, there was all the original tag in the glove box from Nissan, stating, ATTENTION, If the engine had been operating at high RPM for an extended period of time, let it idle for a few minutes prior to shut down. More stating about other things such at stereo pass, 2 off which I have the original units kept safe. I think it's very rare to still have this considering the car's 26 years old. When I bought the 300, it was just like it had never been used before and this is how it looks now. I have looked for more interior and engine pictures today but no luck up to now. You can see some more pictures of the car in my Rides section :) Rear lights fitted after these pictures were take.
  6. No, sorry. I have moved house and the car is still 140 miles away from me. I haven't found all the pictures I took back when I baught it. Once I do, I will post them straight away. I will need to get the car back home and start getting it back in shape, clear all the dust and cobwebs out of it  I also have a near perfect set of UK Series 2 interior to fit. I always felt, looking at the other 2 Zeds, this one doesn't look as nice.
  7. 2016 Nissan 300ZX (2016-06-02 09:42:07)
  8. I've got one genuine 93 uk manual (#11) plus 2 other UK Auto's. One to soon become a manual, can't count that one tho :)
  9. I bought my first Zed with ONLY 29K on the clock, full service history. I bought it over 11 years ago and still own it now. I've kept it in storage hoping one day it might be worth money again. Now 11 and a half years on I've only put 5K miles on the clock :) It still looks and smells new. It's a real dream to drive compared to my other Zed's.
  10. I have just red this from a book called 280/300ZX By Brian Long. It states from TopGear in 1994, Jeremy Clarkson wrote, This time they've gone too far. Normally I'd happily sign petitions and march about if it would have the grass stay green and the sky stay blue, but not on this occasion. Environmental pressures have signed the death warrant on the 300ZX and frankly it's just not on. The article stated that a total of 1,390 300ZXs were on the British roads. So I guess the total must have been that in September 1994!!! I'd like to know how many are left now?? Hope this helps :)
  11. Hi, Yes that ME :w00t: I work down here now and just got back to find these here :confused1: My wife sent a text last night and said some pipes have arrived :confused1::confused1: I told her I didn't order any. Well at least that sorted that out, plus they didn't get lost in delivery space :1eye: FOREVER. Well just PM or call when you can.
  12. I don't know if this is true but I thought only 1270 some, UK cars had been built? I remember reading it somewhere, I was told that there was less than 550 UK Z32's left!! That was from a girl from my insurance company that just loves ZXTT's. anyway lets just have a count up :-)
  13. I think People have forgotten how nice these cars really where when new and sometimes I just love to look at the un-blemished condition to relays why I keep it. You have to laugh at the women that owned it, as when I asked her what it was like with the roof off! She said that she didn't know how to take it out, so that means I was the first one to remove it LOL. I just can't bring myself to take it out of storage and that's why I bought one for the weekends. I think it's a shame the price has fallen so much now and not even worth selling these days. Not that I would sell.
  14. Can I join in!!! I have two UKTT's but I think I have the rare one with only 33,054 miles on it with full service history. It still has that new smell about it. Oh no rust here eather or even a scratch, been in a heated garage all its life, but love them both. Just one problem I work in Taiwan now and it hasn't seen a road for over two years (GUTTED) My other Z is red and it's starting to look its age now if I remember right! So two more here.
