  1. Its running Nismo 615cc (555s) which are a couple years old at most but its another thing to consider so appreciate it bud. Thanks
  2. I seem to have developed an issue when keeping a constant speed around 2k revs, the car starts to judder and jolt. If I'm under acceleration it is as smooth as silk through the rev range, its just when on minimal throttle keeping at a steady speed. I'm thinking it is the MAF as it looks like it is dropping out of the fuel map judging by the AFR gauge. Does anyone have any other ideas what it could be or know of a UK based seller of a genuine new MAF? Thanks Luke
  3. I'd forgot all about KYBs, very good shocks used to run the KYB AGX adjustables on my old 200sx and very good shock like Andrew said
  4. You cant go wrong with Bilstein B6's Link for price: https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/bilstein-b6-sport-shock-absorber-bls24-014823/
  5. Serviced the car with good ol Liqui Moly and genuine Nissan oil filter ?
  6. I'm lucky that the calipers have already been rebuilt and already have SS lines. Fluid flush and new discs and pads is all I will need so a nice easy job for a weekend. Only reason I was thinking about going bigger is the 530bhp is a little more than standard haha Appreciate the input guys :)
  7. That's what I'm swaying more towards as its much easier to get done, plus there doesn't seem to be any where that shows a huge improvement of bigger brakes over standard when using daily I've heard of using 350z discs but these are adaptors again
  8. Hi Guys I'm having an indecisive moment so need some help. I have some BMW 850 Brembo Calipers (40 and 44mm Pistons) which are in need of a refurb and will cost me about £350 all in as I already have the adaptors, discs and pads. Disc size increases to 345mm which fits behind my current wheels fine. Do I get these refurbed or do I just upgrade to better discs and pads on the standard calipers? Car is used for a bit of country road blasting every now and again so £1000+ kits are a total waste of money. Just want something to give a bit more confidence in the brakes than what is currently on as its by no means confidence inspiring haha Thanks for input Luke
  9. That's pretty bloody special! Fantastic work
  10. Fitted some new rubber on the back courtesy of Vredstein :)
  11. Car looks absolutely stunning. That's an amazing job they have done
  12. Started my 3 point rear seatbelt conversion so I have even more reason to go out for a drive... because the kids want to :)
  13. I hadn't thought about spigot rings actually, good call there and only minutes to check Thanks
  14. It was fitted by the previous owner bud so Im not sure sorry. Also I only really notice it when on thr motorway which is rare
  15. Sorry I didnt put this in the original post I get a bit through the steering wheel but it feels like its from low down in the car, feels towards the rear or below me. Difficult to pin point really, sorry bud
  16. I use the car every weekend and atleast once in the week. This could be the case though if parked up for periods of time previous to me as I rarely go on the motorway which is when I notoced it other day. Trying to lend a pair of wheels from a mate to triple check this one
  17. Discs are pretty new and Im getting not shaking when braking or pulling to one side. Its a baffling one this is been doing my head in for a little bit now haha
  18. Hi All Hoping you can give me some advice as the 300 seems to have developed a vibration which is noticeable at 70mph, if I go over this it gets considerably worse. It starts about 60mph, so I did the usual of get wheels balanced and that hasn't solved it so I'm thinking maybe drive shaft or prop? I had a single piece prop so I can rule out that its the joint in the prop. Anyone able to shed some light? If it is drive shafts anyone know where to get these nowadays? Thanks Luke
  19. Around a quarter of a million miles in a 300zx. That's some going! Well done dude :)
  20. I'm managing to find all sorts of figures for ours, some say £255 some are saying £265 No massive difference and not going to miss £10 if it is that just curious mainly
  21. Hi All Has anyone managed to figure out what the price increase is on our road tax? I've been trying to find a figure but all I can find is there will be an increase but depends on engine size for cars registered before March 2001 Only heard about it today in our office but seems vague for our cars Luke
  22. Replaced the battery for a nice new Bosch S4 068 battery
  23. My speaker grilles are plain and haven't had stereo out so looks like I might have to have me a digging around on this one Thanks for the reply :)
