if it does affect the polished finish, just polish it up after. Try on a little section first, it may just dull the surface and a buff up will do.

Its been cold, but wouldnt have thought a new battery should die. Do you have an alarm installed, if so extra features does it have, things like remote sensing etc... Have you charged it and its taking a charge? Or you could have parasitic drain. You can wire an ameter from the positive on the battery and then to the positive battery clamp, so its in series. Then you can check what current draw you have on it whilst just sat there. DO NOT start the engine if you have this in series cause it will just die, they only take 10amps.

Thats all fine till someone doing 60 in a 30 wipes out your wife and kids.

the wipers inside the unit dont touch very well with the old age, I took mine apart and fixed it, but its a sealed unit so not relly designed to be done. Worked fine after though.

bet thats the New Zeland air force one, saw them do that at Fairford last year. High performance take off with a run up lol.

I took my Zed to a alarm garage and they said it was cheaper to install a new one than mess about trying to find and fix all the faults. Only took them a few hours to rip out and install new. Didnt do it myself as needed cert for insurance.
