i use carole nash with a classic policy but have an agreed mileage of 6000 miles a year all mods are disclosed fully comp i am currently charged £350 a year thats with homestart and roadside recovery. but i am also an old git as i turned 40 this jan !!

i simply assumed (probably incorrectly :slap: ) manuals would be more thirsty as in my auto i had overdrive which dropped the revs down compared to say in a manual where you would be more inclined to chase the revs and keep it in the powerband for a more entertaining drive.

i had an auto for a year and it was great for going up multi storey car parks when busy ! but she,s in at zen for conversion to manual as we speak. we'll have to compare notes afterwards but like you i am eager to feel the difference, i expect mpg will drop (who cares) but performance should feel more lively.

you're gonna cut a hole in the drivers seat and plumb in the drainpipe as a new take on a screamer pipe ... ie when the brakes fail and you start screaming we know what the pipe will be used for ! :p

just considering having a play on track this year and wondered as regards helmets .. compulsory or not ? if compulsory i presume helmets must be upto relevant approved safety standards. any recommends as far as a good one to go for :)

yep .. fraid so for now until i can afford to look at seriously restyling the bodywork (read until i have saved a shed load of cash!) until then the exterior will have to stay pretty much as is. money has been spent on the more important aspects ie engine and suspension. i'm sure it's not everyones cup of tea (some days i wonder myself) but its a Z and its mine !

it's actually mine, doesn't have the stripes now though .. it's a 91 uk tt auto just in at Zen for some loving attention .. don't know about the soundtrack on the tele as she has a full decat twin stainless exhaust and sounds bugger all like that !

first meet i've had to chance to make even tho i did'nt have my z, thanks to apache for the ride out so i got to see mac abuse a poor innocent car park ! :bow: great fun and can't wait to get mine back hopefully in time for ferrybridge.

i can't say how much i feel for you .. having saved for so long myself to get a z if i had to give her up i'd be crying like a baby.... mine should be back from zen hopefully in a months time and i intend to make some of the meets this year you'd be welcome to hitch a ride anytime you like.
