went to motorscope in northallerton this afternoon, never saw a single z ! however a very smart looking skyline flashed and waved, bright yellow think it was a r32 would have been about 1.30 ish on the a1237 from york to thirsk. no idea if its anyone from here as i attempted to flash back but was too busy reading my directions when i realised what was going on :)

hmmm not sure about the fade :tongue: seriously though that is a really rich looking colour, best buy all your mates some good shades cos they're gonna need em !

went out for a gentle one to the seaside, hornsea, tight windy little b roads but good fun even at sensible speeds :) not a zed in sight but did get a wave from a skyline and an evo chasing off in the other direction. stopped at the lights in the centre of hornsea and got quite a few looks from the poor unsuspecting pedestrians when the lights went green :D

surprisingly i never got lost finding dalton park, which is a rare thing for me ! hopefully next time round we'll have a better attendance, i mean it as only about a 200 mile or so round trip for me so i,m sure a few others caould manage :D that wide arse of yours stellaz is looking good, the car people, the car :rolleyes: and look forward to seeing further installments on your leather interior phil :)

was good to finally get back out as it's been well over a year since i had a z to drive to a meet ! hopefully we'll have more of a turnout for the next one :) was nice to meet you all again after such a long time only now after more rain on the way home my day off will be spent cleaning the car again :rolleyes:

i hope you will appreciate that for many different reasons i do not want to disclose what i paid for the car. the money i spent could have bought me a wide variety of other high powered cars but you pays your money and takes your choice and in my mind the choice was the right one :)

had an impromptu visit to the garage to rectify an exhaust brace on the underside of the car that had got bent on a small speed bump, i did n't know it was out of shape until it grounded on the small rise of my driveway ! but all is well and i got to see the underside of the car when it was on the ramps and my god is it clean :) so i'm afraid piccies will be up later this week as soon as i have time i'll try and take some good ones :p

:p as with any extremes of styling it cannot be to everyones tastes, the diffuser runs under the car to aid downforce on track and was more a case of form follows function, but when you see the car and have a walk around if does look much better :)

well that spec list is not quite right, see the one i posted, as to how much to build a car like this its difficult to say i have some idea as to the value of parts alone that have gone into the build of this car and if you factor in having the work done figures have been quoted anywhere from 40 - 100k !! as for actual purchase price i'm sure you'll understand if i remain tight lipped on that one :)

once she is cleaned up i need to spend some time getting used to her so will be passing your way i'm sure. still getting used to the clutch, it's not actually that bad only stalled her once and that was getting up the slope on my driveway just when all the neighbours were watching :o

well i finally got my hands on my amazing pentroof z :hyper: took the train upto newcastle and got collected by jurgen, who was driving a big single turbo supra as kirbz has nicked his wheels off of his rx7 :tongue: first thing i saw was a skyline and a couple of supras, once they were out of the way there she was .. and then he started her up :eek: the sound of those titanium exhausts was just something else. dropping into the hks carbon seats you soon realise the race feel is very well justified, i behaved myself quite well on the way home, apart from a little play with a new bmw m5 .. as i am now knackered after a long week she has been put to bed until tomorrow when a good wash and wax will ensue followed by some proper photos and a drive of course :dance: just want to say a big thanks to kirbz and i hope to see as many meets and shows this year as work will permit and hopefully get some good publicity for the club which in my mind is well deserved after all its given me :)
