  1. I've epoxy primed mine and used raptor liner. I've read good things about both these processes, time will tell.
  2. Thanks Richard. I think I'll drain the PAS at the weekend and fill with new PAS fluid, my cars been off the road 10 years. I thought origionally it was a leaking hose, but actually turned out to be the nut leaking that connects the hose to the rack. Thanks again.
  3. I have a small leak on my power steering, which I've been topping up with power steering fluid. I've since found out it needs to be automatic transmission fluid, i presume Dexron 3. To replace the power steering fluid with ATF do i need to drain all the power steering fluid out and flush it, or can i just get most of it out and top it up with ATF?
  4. Thank you. I'll get some ordered, and maybe some other things ?
  5. While removing my boost pipes to get to my power steering pump i managed to split this rubber hose. It has a little wire brush in it and connects on to the boost pipe and near the throttle spring (pictured). Can you still buy these? Or can i just replace it with a new rubber hose? Sorry for the blurred pictures, i must of got some oil on my camera lens ?
  6. Thanks for the replies guys. I think i need to do a bit of reading and rethinking. I'm running Tein super streets so the coil overs are sorted. I don't mind a stiff ride and thought if i was going to replace the bushes and spend a few hundred quid i might as well change the suspension components instead.
  7. All my bushes are shot so looking at this set up rather than replacing the bushes. What do you think? Is there a better alternative?
  8. That's it ? I'll have a look at removing that tomorrow, cheers ?
  9. It's not the carbon canister BTW.
  10. Thanks for the replys . It's tucked at the top of the wing bolted to the fire wall near the door pillar. I only have my phone and tablet on android so don't seem to be able to post photo's, there's no paper clip to click on. Any ideas how I can post a photo?
  11. Welcome back mate. I've been away for years, i used to be known as Rubble. I'm back stripping mine down, got my mojo back and want to get her back on the road. Gonna post pictures soon.
  12. I've just started the restoration of my Zed after it's been sat on my drive for 10 years. After taking the passenger wing off i noticed a canister. It has two rubber tubes connected to it and what looks like a small white filter. What is it and can i delete it?
