did he mention that he tried changing pcv valves or anything? i doubt a smoke stop additive will be able to stop the tubs from leaking... well, it didnt on mine lol :p im sure shunter will be most helpful himself and not rip you off, have you approached him about it? what did he say?

lol thanx! i didnt notice at first, but when i took off the shell to change the wheels :wack: the engine fell out! i did a quick tub change and replaced the rear crank seal then slapped it back in. the bonnet is a little stiff to lift!

p/w lock = passenger window lock... it prevents the passeger from operating the window. as for the locking problem, from what i can make out about locking it with the door open then closing the door, im sure that is a standard safety feature so you dont lock your keys in the door. if it locks once the engine has started, this is an aftermarket alarm type gadget. this sends a signal to a little electric actuator on the drivers door, so left for your car, which is attached to the original locking mechanism and locks or unlocks depending on the signal input. so basically, i think your problem is most likely to be the electric actuator or the main central locking unit. oh and the clicking is probably the indicator relay as you arm/disarm your alarm. hope this helps. joel.

yes i had the same prob with a toad alarm installed on mine... after removing all the trim around the steering wheel i found a blown 10amp fuse tucked away in the alarm loom, i replaced it and hey carumba!

lol, take em both, torch the scooby and make the z fast!

pump terminals unfortunately fraser, the voltage makes it all the way to the pump then misteriously disappears into a cloud of nothingness!

i agree paul, a joint sw and sc meet. somewhere in the middle... i dont mind travelling tbh, maybe somewhere like yeovil to get a wider scope of south westians!
