  1. if all else fails, you are more than welcome to borrow mine... i am in stansted.
  2. chuffin ell gaz thats a niiice size bud, congrats, what did you do to the previous owner :p tis idd a lot bigger than it looks from the outside :)
  3. time to get some JP wheels ;)
  4. lol nps andy... i only cropped it and resized it matey! :)
  5. mine is an auto and i am hanging onto every word you say about what i would consider to be 'psychiological power gains'... my auto never feels as quick as i think it should and so i really look forward to my upgrade :)
  6. aaah, didnt know that. mine is a uk and i dont have power or hold :(
  7. the jdm models have a hold switch for the autobox so when in drive you can hold a gear if need be... the uk specs dont have this function which is annoying and dangerous! especially when traveling round a corner at pace and u slightly back off the throttle... the box shifts up and its bye bye grip.
  8. i hope your not gonna put that in ur gearbox :p
  9. LoL DOH :slap: Thanks for your input chaps :)
  10. the way i see it is that you want to do this mod for the pigeon noise... to get this noise you are sacrificing throttle response time when on and off boost and ul be changing the tubs every 6 months... thats if you change them before one fires all of its blades into the engine! imo its not worth but as said previously, each to their own. :D
  11. As i have now moved to the stansted area and am lightyears away from SouthWestZeds  i thought i would explore the 'specialists' in this area. SE arent too far away from me and i was wondering if any1 had any feedback of the quality of their work? :D Tanks, Joel.
  12. and check the cars for sale on here. buying one from a genuine enthusiast will generally mean that its been looked after.
  13. click here for buying guide prices are low at the mo but there are alot of sheds out there... choose carefully and look to spend around 4-5k for a tidy one, the odd bargain will be found though.
  14. lets see some pics then matey... i hope you got a bargain coz you got some £££ to spend :p
  15. Andy, click edit after right clicking a pic and it will open up that pic in paint, then click the 'edit' tab, then 'stretch/skew' and change the % size of the pic you want. a nice simple way of resizing pics imo :)
  16. then id put my money on the stem seals... when you turn the car off, the oil seeps through the seals, then when you start it again you have to blow it through.
  17. Si you suprise me mate... i thought they were a bit overkill for you :p  ;)
  18. your right, i think the internals vary slightly.
  19. the reason the tubs are smaller on an auto is so they spool up quicker to assist the 'lag' of the gearbox. i know of a member on here who did an auto conversion on his manual  and the car was considerably slow until he put auto tubs on. do it the other way round however (auto tubs on a manual) and it will in theory make it accerlerate faster but have less at top end. others will argue that it makes no difference and i dont believe there has been any solid proof so it is all based on opinions. either way, if you are tryin to get more power out of your auto, fitted manual tubs is definately not the way to go :) get urself a boost upgrade instead :D
