yes... just cover up electrical things such as battery, alarm siren, ptu etc etc. but be warned, doing this has caused many problems for a few people until it drys out, it can seep into electrical connectors so be careful :)

your gonna have to detach yourself from it :( he sounds like a cowboy trying to pull the wool over your eyes. demand your money back and threaten trading standards then never go back! name and shame the trader btw :)

if you drove it off the lot i assume it was a trader... take it back and demand your money back or you will inform trading standards! do it quick before its too late. choose your next one more carefully by seeing it run for a lenghty period of time on idle ;) it may need new tubs or it may need some internal engine replacements, most likely piston rings or potentially valve stem seals etc. dont accept an offer from him to sort it as he will only gash it! a bottle of wynns stop smoke doesnt cost much :smash:
