i suppose your right... il get some tyres for them and try them on for a few days. though because every wheel has corrosion spots on the polished rim i wont leave them on as it looks messy!

they did look the nuts on my last zed... and if this zed was a darker colour i wouldnt even consider it. before i bought this red zed i thought it looked silly with the black wheels from the picture, though once i saw it i realised it didnt look silly, it just didnt photograph well! its different and contrasts well with the red...

iv always thought the 99 spec front would look better with the 2 slats still in the intercooler inlets and 1 slat in the rad inlet just to break it up a bit... i know what your saying about the strange void of a hole it leaves in standard form!

then you would need to smoked indicators... i think itll still look good, if not better with it all painted as yours is now. i do agree that the 1 in them pics looks the nuts, but it doesnt have a number plate on it to break up the design. id say, buy the lip, get it painted and installed, then if you still feel painting the infill black is the way to go then do it at a later date?

are you specifically looking for that pic or just a pic of a strosek kitted zed? take a look at gruntpa64 in the rides section and quite a few others in there too :)

DOH! only just seen this post... you should have given me a bell when you had removed the lot, i could have attacked it with a hydraulic press or hydraulic puller! nevermind, youve got it off now which means you have 3 days to modify it and reinstall everything with your 350z brembos ready for japfest ;)

tis exactly the colour il be going for tony :) i love the purple ones. Gaz the deep purple skylines are also the same colour.

all that said about the dark colour... machines pentroof zed really looks the nuts, it think it looks a bit more understated... or does it just make it look like a race bred drift car :confused:

i dont mind black wheels with a polished rim, but with the wheels that are on it atm i have really got to like the all black style... so i think itll be all black or silver and polished!

i cant help but feel that painting them dark will ruin the lovely curves :confused:

i had them on my old zed, been in my loft for quite some time now! im unzedless again, the red 1 is being repaired!

aka det sensor! it senses detonation in your engine and will put you in safety mode if it senses it :)
