Recognized Locations For Mids Meets...
Ladies and Gents, I thought it would be a good idea to post a thread up listing all the recognised pubs in the midlands area, like a white/black list... If anyone has any suggestions for local pubs/gathering places please post details up in this thread, and if possible could you speak to the owner/manager to make sure they have no complaints with us turning up. And please no general discussions in here Thank you Dave

Saturday 6th September, the Boot in Lapworth
Some of us local lads/ladesses have been talking about having a local meet anyway, so thought I'd put it up here The Boot Map Saturday 6th (Postponed 1 week due to JAE) I have spoken to the manager and he's happy for us to use the car park, although he suggested getting there early due to the car park filling up, although it is a decent size. Anyone interested? 1) DCarey 2) Emero 3) Friday?

Gauging interest for Le Mans 24hr 2009
I'm just trying to gauge interest at the moment, a few of us went down to Le Mans this year but we all made our own arrangements for travel/camping etc... Next year I think it would be nice if a few of us could go down together and make a nice club meeting out of it with the possibility of then heading over to Germany for the autobahn and Nurburgring. I was thinking of organising it such that you could come down and meet up for Le Mans or the Nurburgring or both. So could I have a show of hands to see if it's worth me taking time to organize this as a club. P.S. Le Mans weekend is the 13th/14th June '09 (Ticket prices aren't confirmed yet but they were about 60 Euros this year) P.P.S Some pics from this year Le Mans can be found here

Ferodo DS2500 v Mintex 1155 ?
I forgot to say, my pads are DS2500s and they squeal like crazy.

Ferodo DS2500 v Mintex 1155 ?
The problem with squeal is you can't get any anti-vibration shims for the R33 calipers, although the EBC pads come with them integrated... I was thinking of getting some made up by a small scale engineering firm for me but haven't looked into it yet.

Zedworld
I won't be using him again, he changed my HICAS arms and left the locknuts loose on both sides (Only needed slight finger pressure to move them).

I went along to the Silverstone Classic event yesterday and borrowed my sisters camera as I want to get back into photography after doing it in my GCSEs. Anyways here are some of my first photos from an SLR after not having held one for 7 years.- FAO Midlands people (& anyone else!): my Gig, this Thurs night (24th) in Birmingham.
I leave work around 21:20 officially (read between the lines 20:30 at the latest) could pop in on my way to work at 13:15 if that's easier for you.- FAO Midlands people (& anyone else!): my Gig, this Thurs night (24th) in Birmingham.
I'm going, but then you knew that already - Black/Grey Z on severn star road heading into Birmingham 20:45
Waved at you as you went by, I was in the blue one :P- Looking for a replacement car
After royally smashing my Saab up the other week I've been looking for a replacement car I'm seriously tempted by this- Det sensor ECU harness question
Anyone...?- Det sensor ECU harness question
I know the det sensor has been covered in numerous threads but I can't find the answer to my question anywhere. I followed the instructions in this link, when checking the resistances of the ECU side connector one wire had 0.5 Mohm as it should, the other wire which should go to ground was getting nothing. My question though does that wire need to be relayed all the way back to the ECU or can it just go to any ground? Thank you EDIT: This is probably a really stupid question, but I'd rather not risk screwing anything up- A MASSIVE thank you to DCarey!
Cheers Leigh, The first I heard of this was when I got to Dianes. I do my best to help wherever I can. Thanks to everyone else too - Silverstone Classic Pictures
