  1. Thank you all, I know I'm not the most active on here (Far from it) but i still have my Z along with some very big plans for it so you'll probably see more of me in the future
  2. I think there was supposed to be a bong when you go over a certain speed as a warning, so maybe it's something to do with the speed sensor, or the speed dial, as the dial takes the signal from the speed sensor and cleans it up before passing the signal onto the ECU.
  3. As Murt has said, yes I do still have it, I took it off the road a couple of years ago initially for financial reasons. However I am planning to do a lot of work to get it on the road, it will hopefully be back better as ever in around 12-18 months. As for photos, i'm afraid I don't have too many of it, I only really started my photography after taking it off the road. Although I do have a couple here of my first trip to Le Mans
  4. I'm going for the 4th year in a row, would be good to meet up with anyone from here
  5. Got back home at 12:30 last night, got some pics up here though
  6. we don't usually have a major attendance at the USC, I've just done a search and found threads for 2005-7 and nothing for last year. It would also fall more into the national events rather than local.
  7. Can't make this, I'm going to be in Le Mans. Looks like a good photo opportunity too :( Oh well, just have to go to the RIAT at RAF Fairford later in the year instead. Have a nice time though
  8. Todays piccies... Thanks for everyone that turned up, it was a really nice day with excellent company. And for those that couldn't make, hopefully you will next time
  9. You don't have to turn up in a Z...
  10. Same time as all local meets, 12:00
  11. Yes it is still going ahead. Dunk300zx is coming along as well as Emero

It varies, we usually hold them as far north as Derby, as far south as Coventry or as far East as Leicester. Unfortunately No one has suggested any more westerly places but the areas around wolverhampton/telford would be a bit different from the usual.
  13. It's been a while since I last organized a meet and for that I apologize. From now on I am going to make sure I put something up every month. Starting with the Queen and Castle next Sunday (31st May). 1) DCarey/Uncle Dave

Sorry, been busy with work and college lately, I've been meaning to organize one but haven't got round to it. I'll look at putting something up tomorrow.
  15. Sorry for the late reply, haven't been on the forums much recently. Nothing's happened to it as such, just taking it off the road for financial reasons, and I can't afford the rebuild while it's on the road.
  16. only just spotted this, I'll be there :)
  17. excellent, sounds like a plan. Just need to see if someone will lend me a Z so I can go down in style ;)
  18. That's the other reason I suggested it ;)
  19. Sorry I haven't kept up to date with this, I almost forgot I put it up :slap: I was looking to go the same dates as Joely, but without the including the Nurburgring partly due to little interest and partly because my Z is going to be off the road. I missed the Friday night festivities last year as I didn't get there till 8 and was knackered after driving all the way and breaking down twice: once on the ferry where it decided to deposit all it's coolant next to a '69 Shelby GT500 (to be honest I nearly did when I saw it) and just north of Rouen it ran out of fuel when the gauge stuck at 1/4 tank :headvswal can we all try at least to get into the same campsite, I started off in Bausejoir (sp?) last year and moved to blue north. It looks like blue north is sold out now, but there were *loads* of tickets for it on ebay last year. So can I suggest we all aim for blue north as it's closer to the entrance and with better amenities.
  20. Looking good Rob, you'll have to give me a spin in it next time we meet.

I'm guessing it's going to be at Billing Aquadrome again
  22. Merry christmas everyone
  23. I've replaced 2 matrixs' now, mine was a matrix from a primera I picked up for £50-60~ off ebay and took the dash out to fit it, took a few days (working on and off) I also did Emeros in a week popping round after work and doing a bit each day (Hers was a US spec matrix and cost considerably more) There's a guide on the Oz forums which tells you how to do it. just make sure you keep tabs on all the screws you take out if you decide to do it (I put them in resealable bags then stuck them to the component they held in)
