Hello chaps Ive been working on my N/A Zed the last month or so and im finding out things i didnt realise .. firstly i when it broke down and Mark (topless) fixed it :bow: :bow: he said i have a 96 CAS unit, Injectors and other various bits.. ive checked the seatbelts which say 93 .. but everything else is pointing to 96.. incl the loom .. is there any tell tale signs that i could look for to see what year my car is, as its driving me nuts when i have to order bits John

got it on mine too .. turned em into sidelights now though .. with lower watt bulbs ofcourse

Mark tell him to spend 5K on a Z another 7k on mods and he can drive an exotic sports car when ever he wants .. job done :dance: :dance:

19's look much better IMO but you have to take into consideration running costs as the price of tyres are much higher than 18's .. plus damn sight easier to kerb.. but they do look the muts nuts..not an easy decision

:tongue: thats why i bought an N/A .. but when i done my TT many moons ago .. mainly built by TDI i had a HKS FMIC put on and was advised due to it slighly restricting the flow that it would be a a good idea as id spent 16k+ to upgrade a rad that was 6 years old and get a brand new water pump due to the fact a 6 year old impeller wouldnt be as efficient as a new one .. kinda makes sense.. plus the fact .. when you mod an engine you burn more fuel and induct more air .. more HEAT.. nothing to do with the FMIC .. more to do with the rest of the setup .. i had Zero problems with it and this was a car that was estimated at 540/560 RWHP ..(was featured on here many moons ago b4 this was a forum .. nice that Luke from Zcentre remembered it).. unconfired as the car was stolen prior to finishing off all the minor things.. done by a Pro whos been in the game for years and had plenty of feature cars in mags im no engineer/mechanic .. but he done me proud till some (hundreds of bleeps) nicked it

I do agree with you bud .. lots of things can happen which are out of our control .. im not saying i was in the right .. just explaining that the only person at risk was myself .. as for the 2 lorry drivers i done that at a sensible speed .. always do coz of the turbulence they cause when u get up aside.. i dont want to argue with anyone .. i come here for a natter with fellow Zedders to share an interest.. i admit i was in the wrong but was greatly releived i hadnt been charged .. i REALLY feel for you with your loss .. a loss however it happens isnt pleasant and causes no end of heartache.. as for not seein the police .. i cant believe i never saw them either .. thats usualy the first thing i look for in me mirrors.. we all have our oppinions .. thats what makes us individuals .. and i dont see the point of a row on here
