  7. wozzer .. mines got a correction .. it says SAE J 1349 (5/85) what ever that means lol
  8. nope its roughly 25% of the bhp added which works out 222.5.. which aint bad at all considering its a 10 year old car
  9. not 100% sure bud but even if you do the sums mine only comes to 225ish at the fly

  11. Steve .. it was at the wheels .. the thing that i cant figure out is wozzers n/a was dyno'd @ 248 bhp but cant keep up with mine .. just seems strange if he's 70bhp up on me.. he should theoreticly slaughter me

  14. ello guys just got back from dyno testing the car what a suprise .. 178.9bhp @6048 rpm just wondered if there are different standards of measuring BHP .. same as amplifier companies use RMS & peak power i noticed mine says met/hp and others have din/hp .. which one is the correct or industry standard? Thanks John

  16. i get about the same from my N/A as u would from a standard TT but then i do have a lead right foot lol
  17. Mark i will be scanning the data log on monday when im back in the office.. to be honest i enjoy the N/A just as much as i did my TT without the worry of turbo seals etc packing up .. great reliable daily runner .. im not saying that TT's arent

  19. Big day to day .. i found out if my N/A realy is a TT bumper muncher .. been waiting weeks for this.. she goes on the rollers at 4pm and i cant wait :dance: :dance: :dance:
  20. They are a stunning looking car .. which is why i ended up buying another one after 6 years .. performance wise theyre a bugger to tune but who cares when uve got a car that looks like a super car for around 5k great to see you giving the zed a real challenging race :tongue: :tongue:

  23. Scotty .. i had a similar thing happen on my old XJS when i tuned that .. was caused by the exhaust heat .. was to near the tyre .. ended up having to fit a heat deflector .. done 3 tyres b4 we sussed it .. cured it after that .. may not be the same prob but worth a look John
