LPG conversion
about 2k to convert bud.. benefits are fuel economy my SX does 15-18 mpg on petrol and when i switch over to LPG i get between 40-50 miles to the 5ers worth wich is about the same price as a gallon of petrol these days.. go for a system that has its own ecu this way it can change the timing to suit the lpg giving you MORE power than u would have if running on petrol .. i use the BRC FAST LPG system .. plenty of places about that fit it all over the country and so many garages that now stock LPG too

750bhp on Gas
As a few of you know, i recentrly broke my zed (RIP) due to some non insured tosser who decided to pull out on me Have replaced the Zed with another 200sx (allways been a fan of these as they dont stand out as much as the zed ) Anyway, the SX i now own had been converted to LPG , its got a fair few miles on the clock so i bought a spare engine to rebuild, having a tomei 2.2 stroker conversion :D, speaking to the tuner whos doing the rebuild , he said with the right turbo etc i could be looking at 700-800bhp (flywheel), so ive been in touch with a guy that specialises in RACE lpg systems , told him the spec of whats being done to find out about fueling , he said it p*** easy as all i have to do is add more injectors to the LPG ecu .. no fueling probs like on petrol with double pumps etc .. the lpg system is design to work on V8 engines so what they do is piggy back 2 cylinders to run in tandem .. each lpg injector is rated upto 125bhp and as LPG burns cleaner than petrol, mapping will be tons easier too quite chuffed really, i just hope the tuner and LPG guy can do it all .. now ive got the fun of z32 gearbox conversion and other bits and pieces so i can transfer it all to the wheels :x:.. and then its getting it to stop.. but thats not a prob as all the stuff made for the zed 32 fits .. arent nissan great for making universal fitment :D i'll be posting pics on here and sxoc as it all starts to kick off John

Fuel Economy!!
Yes mate .. im running 300 rwhp on the SX at mo but having the big injector and ECU upgrade done along with the engine mods to push it to 400 at the rear wheels .. the system you want is made by BRC has its own programable ECU so it alters the timing etc which stops power loss like most lpg conversions .. n for £1700 for a 70 litre conversion .. ideal for a zed, im going to get it done when i eventualy get a 99spec TT and remember i only use 4 injectors so i doubt fueling would be a prob on a 6 pot block

ZX300 TT Mechanic Birmingham
Unfortunatly Paul there are allways the odd few that like to make a bid song and dance out of a problem that could be dealt with direct with a trader rather than blabbing off on here and potentialy ruining a mans business over 1 incident , unfortunatly people tend to listen more to the bad comments than praise .. ive used the same tuning firm for 18 years now and have a lot of comments about his pricing etc .. but not once have i ever had to take my car back for poor work or anything related ... people should just go with the flow and find a garage that suits them .. its trial and error
