White Impul Z
Oh, I meant on the Impul back bumpers they have a grill in the back bumper, but yes stain black would look nice there.

White Impul Z
No no no. Gloss white. I guess like funkysi's but not a pearl

Decided on my zeds new look.
If you want Ash if you put up some pictures of your z ATM I could Photoshop it like I did to mine to be gold so you get a better viewcof what it looks like. I have to say the gold colour is growing on me :)

White Impul Z
Satin may last longer and look clean, but in my opinion I think gloss looks superior and stands out more from coming from a dull faded black. Sent from my Elephone P8000 using Tapatalk

White Impul Z
What do people think of my white Impul Z concept (photoshopped from my black one) I plan to paint the rear bumper grill matt black, tint the lenses for the indicators and paint the inside of the front scoop black also. Thoughts?

I'm not sure where exactly BenM was planning but we were thinking near Sevenoaks as if you look at the map on page 15 it is a relatively central location for everyone. I don't think we are 100% sure yet though. If you know any places we could do it, let us know. Sent from my Elephone P8000 using Tapatalk

No plate
Might be worth checking the width its supposed to be, the one i have is quite alot wider and fits the entire plate window.

Z32s at auction
Doesn't look like a Navan gear knob at all, i went to see one with it and the navan has a hole through the middle. - - - Updated - - - Unless they made more than one model for it

Scaling may be a bit off, but you look like you are edging it a bit to me.

Stainless steel FUEL lines
I know there are boost leak kits but as far as I am aware they just check to see if the system hold pressure? As I know mine does not I don't think it would be beneficial. FYI to get some better advice here are the symptoms: Dash Cluster Boost gauge goes to +1PSI and doesn't move even if at idle or at full throttle. No apparent feel of boost when driving, very linear acc. Audible air leak at full throttle (Hissing sound) sounds like it is behind the dash/clocks, which is pretty much where the manual boost controller is. Car has a defi gauge control unit, but as far as I'm aware it is disconnected to the vacuum hose could be cut? this is the boost controller £12 on ebay: I am hoping the Blitz SBC i-D system still works, so that would pretty much be a plug and play as the reminents of vacuum hose are still installed.

Stainless steel FUEL lines
Thanks for the info. How do you suppose going about finding where the leak is? I heard you can use washing up liquid which will bubble on the joints where it is leaking, if it is the hoses that are leaking.

Stainless steel FUEL lines
Oh i have a boost leak alright, a huge one. i just haven't got round to diagnosing it and it doesn't really harm the car. (inb4 rant about wrong priorities). I'm pretty sure i know the culprit though; the car has a £10 ebay twisty boost controller on it, which i'm pretty sure doesn't work or is in the wrong setting. anyway i have collected the parts from the Blitz SBC I-D which was removed and in bits when i bought it, and i think i will refit it and see if it will boost properly. if it doesn't then i will have to look further. Back on thread the braided nylon lines do look quite nice and i might look at getting some of those. should i buy enough to do just from the filter to the plenum or should i replace some of the piping that comes before the filter also? This will be on a stock fuel system, not uprated rails like dougles.

Stainless steel FUEL lines
I know Si likes to have his strong opinions about what his car should like, but when it comes to advice he knows more than me so I really have to take what he says on board.

Stainless steel FUEL lines
I was under the impression that braided lines would be more durable, and proven wrong i have no problem with keeping the rubber hoses.

That's what they did for me, even though it was a 300zx key.

ECU question
my impression is that an ENGINE control unit does not interfere with the gear system. so i would agree with Si :)
