i think you can do if if you use VLC http://www.videolan.org stream it through that and you can record the stream in a various formats. try it on something else first tho. used it to record a streaming video and it was perfect. hope that helps

i use an internal 4 port sata II raid with 4X500GB western digital drives. i use this for all my work and everything else, only use the 120GB drive for the os. if the os crashes you still have all your data and no need to back up. very good if you tend to forget to back up.

been using it for a while now, not too bad overall. havent had any trouble with it. as for thre RAID i have an Adaptec 140SA in my machine and it works fine. you may be able to use the XP driver in vista for it to recgonise it. All graphics cards are supported in Vista as long as you have drivers. my 6800 Ultra works fine as does the onboard on my test rig. the 8800 is the only card to have DX10 architecture that can take advante of the DX10 environment due to the G80 GPU, but unless your using a DX10 application it makes no difference.
