Just read that and it does appear to be mvery minor mods, WOW!!! Very very impressed, though I didn't think the times woulda been at Santa Pod, even still thats pretty amazing....

Very interested when I saw this post, very much doubt theres much stage one about that Supra.... To make a sub 12 run especially if that WAS at Santa Pod!! :eek: Mighty impressed to say the least if it is inded on stock twintubs!! He does have a lower trap speed so must be good in the launch and good gearing/changes.:cool: My Brother has a Big Single (mk4) Supra, and it's currently making making 661bhp (Fly) @ 20psi, his best time @ Pod (though with few boosting issues) so far is 12.1 on road tyres -Don't get me wrong he will get those sub 12's when the boost problem is fixed and more so on drag radials But here is his spec sheet and it's far from stage one!! *Adds to my previous post. If you had a 700WHP 300zx, and you ran an 11.2 @Pod does that mean you have the fastest Z IF No-one beats that time(Maybe But that time is just on a 1/4 at one strip-only adding that before soemone adds that different strips run different times)...No, someone with 'the arse':rolleyes: will only argue that "Just coz it's quick in a straight line.." Yeh take that same Z round the 'ring and it might well get owned by someone with a 500WHP Z, but beautifully set-up for track.

Fastest Zed In Country?
Yep that WAS one of the best ways to judge if you have the good allrounder, the hardest thing IMO to do of the lot. But its Horses for courses, if you want an out and out Drag car, you will not get it to handle round the B roads like a 911. RE; TOTB thats pretty much a home for AWD nowadays or the Likes of Dax's/Caterhams. As far as bragging rights go, I agree if you are proud of your time its YOUR PB that you aim to beat, if you go chasing the Big guns, then fine its a long way up Coz There will ALWAYS be bigger and better round the corner, thats why a board to post times/Dyno figs. makes sense.;)

I knew Lampard wasn't gonna miss, he was thinking 'for you mum' and I got a little awwwwwwwwwww, but this is when you need that special something going for you, and as if this was for 'The Busby Babes' 50 yrs after the tragic Munich Air Diaster, It was for Manchester UTD to hold the trophy proud. :dance: Whilst emotions running high, Terry looked beside himself But it was the same time of high emotion for a UTD legend in Charlton, and Giggs what an achievement! Yep, classic case of GOTCH-YA-BY-THE-BALLS. If fuel prices were genuinely enviro-related then why do you pay MORE for the higher Octane fuels (they supposedly give extra mileage) and why is Public transport so expensive and unreliable? Flying (The supposedly) worst polluter is still cheaper than more direct rail travel. 'Green' cars hahahaha, How much for them?? They know we keep paying.:( If they really wanted people NOT to drive then why not - Ban cars from the very roads you pay to drive on. Did someone say Roadworks, new Camera...?

Friend of mine has a Merci, I don't think there are too many Z's that would be much of a problem ;) , especially in a straight line also even greater difference between the Murcielago and the later and bigger powered LP640 (just over 630BHP 0-60's of 3.4s ) Models. He previously had an F430 and said that was tame compared to the Merci, so I'm guessing its pretty damn nippy.
