N/a centre propshaft bearing
Talking of propshafts, does anyone know if it's okay to have a single piece prop fitted to a LWB Z? I've also heard people talking about horror stories of one piece props breaking and coming through the cabin, Is there any truth in this?

Taking her off the road
Is it just messy? I'm sure my mechanic will be thrilled!

Taking her off the road
The car will probably be off the road for 8 months of the year I think, and it'll be outside on a drive unfortunately. Is undersealing necessary, sounds expensive! Are pipes likely to corrode and whatnot? Or am I worrying over nothing?? Thanks for the replies.

Taking her off the road
I'm toying with the idea of keeping my Z exclusively for the summer months, more from a financial aspect than worrying about wrecking the car when the ice/snow comes! Does anyone know what the best option is for storing Z's off road for a prolonged period of time? Am I going to come across problems after 9 months of no driving – such as rust and corrosion? I guess there are two options: - Put it on axel stands, put material between brake pads/discs, handbrake off, battery out, cover. OR - Keep it functional and turn it over/move it up and down the drive every week and have a friend with trade insurance take it out for a spin every now and then. Thanks in advance!

Plenum water pipes help urgent!
Yes, I just found these on Z centre. I wonder what other hoses he's talking about, if the delete's been done. essbee, I hope within hope that this can be done without the engine coming out! This'll teach me to have a Z as a daily driver...

Plenum water pipes help urgent!
It's had the delete done, but there are leaks from the heater pipes to the heater matrix and some of the hoses that are remaining. Any idea what ones these would be? Sooner I can order the parts the better!

Plenum water pipes help urgent!
Hi, My Z has sprung a leak. My mechanic has located it to under the plenum chamber, does anyone know the part numbers, or links to websites selling the hoses that are underneath the plenum, any help would be really appreciated! It's a '92 TT manual that I have. Dale

Tracking
So I had some new michelin pilot super sports fitted at the weekend and I thought I'd have the tracking looked at too, not that I'd had any issues with the steering. They informed me that my tracking was way out and that they'd sort it out for me. Their first attempt had my car steering to the left quite severly, and after their second attempt it isn't much better. I just wanted some opinions on whether the before and after shows any significant changes in toe/camber, etc to warrant the guy telling me that my tracking was 'way out', because from my eyes it doesn't look that different from how it was! But I don't really know anything about tracking! Thanks in advance!

Any idea where from?? Or am I limited to importing it from the States?

P-P-P-Propshaft
Hi everyone. My propshaft is on the way out, has been causing vibrations for a while now. Does anyone know where's the best place to source a replacement? Should I go for a one-piece? I have a '92 300zx TT manual 2+2. Thanks in advance!

UK based clutch
I currently have a paddle clutch in. And it was driving me mad, so I'll pass on that offer. Cheers though!

UK based clutch
My paddle clutch decided to break up on me last night, so I'm in need of a good replacement clutch. Does anyone know any UK based companies that sell a good uprated clutch, probably good for 450bhp. I was going to get the RPS street clutch, but I'm concerned how long delivery from the states will be. Thanks!

Topgaiters leather interior
For say £1500, what would I get? Does this including fitting as well? Thanks!

Topgaiters leather interior
Pretty much identical pricing from Mondo too! Great stuff. Mondo, what does your 'complete interior trimming' include for a 300zx TT 2+2?

Topgaiters leather interior
Has anyone here used the upholstering from this eBay store? From what I've read they're quite a good quality and they have lots of stuff for 300zxs! http://stores.ebay.co.uk/TOP-GAITERS-BOOTS/NISSAN-/_i.html?_fsub=1118623016

Hks evc-s
So the previous owner of my Z had a HKS EVC-S boost controller fitted. And I've been playing with the setting recently and am really not sure what I'm doing. I found this on the net: Off Set Value: 0-100%. as it is increased, boost value increases. (I get this) Response Value: 0-100%. as it is increased boost rises faster. (I get this, although a little confused by the following) tends to cause hunter/overboosting and vice versa Over Boost Value: 0-36psi. once boost exceeds this value, control returns to normal mode (I read somewhere else that the over boost value is the pressure level before the boost controller takes over from the original solenoid (think that's the right terminology?) which is quite contradictory to what the list of definitions says!) Warning Value: 0-36psi. when boost exceeds value, warning function activates. (I get this) Drop Value: 0-100% when boost exceeds warning value, boost will be reduced by the drop value from the offset value that set to increase boost. (So I take it when you go over the warning value the offset value is reduced by this percentage?) If anyone has any previous experience with the HKS EVC-S id be interested to hear your experiences with it/settings. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for all the compliments! I'm very pleased with it so far (aside from the issues!). I'll upload some more pics at the weekend!
