ah so its leaking out the seal then thats the only place it can get out so its leaking there.

Oh great, thats what my dad said. But if there was a bolt there, would the oil still leak out? or is it leaking out of somewhere before it gets to just there?

Found out i had a leak on my car last week, so this week jacked it up and fixed the leak. Was the power steering fluid leaking out of a pipe. Took it for a drive, stopped down the road and looked underneath and there was still a bit of oil dripping out. Took it back home, jacked it up and the leak is coming from where my finger is. Is there meant to be a bolt there? If not why is it leaking? Thanks

I was going to put this in the other fuel tank post but thought it was best to start a new post so everyone would see: If you spend £50 at BP you get a token for Pizza Express 3 tokens (£150) = free dough balls and a pizza! Worth about £15. Ive had 2 already from filling lorries up, i did put £800 in afterall. They dont give you them for Keyfuels or other fuel cards though unless you ask nicely (for the other lorry drivers on here). Pretty good if you use your zed a lot. Or any other car for that matter.

I remember the guy i bought mine off saying he never went below 1/4 of a tank. Ever since ive had it, it hardly goes over 1/4 of a tank :) It is annoying when the red ligt is on, you put a tenner in and the light is still on!

How much does it cost these days to fill the zed up? Getting mine back on sunday (cant wait), just wanted a heads up before I fill up. How many litres does it hold? Last time i put any in i think i was getting about 60miles to £20 (long time ago).

Thanks for the replies. The ones which look like normal ciggies look like they will be too expensive. Im gonna go for the fruit flavour liquid ones. Only a tenner on ebay with a liquid so will start with that whereas they are £20 at bp garages and £4 a bottle of liquid. See how it goes. More of a social smoker myself, plus when im driving my lorry i get bored and need something to do.

Getting one of these soon to help stop me smoking so much, but dont know which one to get as now theres so many. Seen one in BP petrol station for £20 which i was just about to buy but then i saw one on ebay for £10 which looks exactly the same but different. Ive had a little think, im not going to bother with them atm. Getting my car fixed first and back on the road, will look at suspension when its driving properly and i have a bit more money to spend on 'fun bits'.

If its right for me id like to put a deposit down (and can do straight away) but i want to know if its what i need.

Its like a Japanese TVR, great cars but have to rebuild the engine around 40k? so im guessing you will have to rebuild the engine on that one and new clutch so about 2k.

I cant believe ive only ust seen this. Can i just have some info? whats the difference between the (s) and the ® types? As i would just be after them to 'look good' how low can i drop the car? Can i make the arch touch the rim?

It doesnt look bad, altho i wouldnt have it done. Get the colours you like and photoshop them so you can see what they look like. Dont ask for opinions on a colour you like as theres always going to be people that dont like it, if you like it, get it done. Theres also a new way to paint a car, PlastiDip (maybe spelt differently) half the price of a normal respray - saves money if you get it done and it looks crap.

Started it up today for the first time in nearly a year. Went up the road and back to clean the discs, sounds alright, hopefully goes to zedworld this week if i can get a day off work.

Ive had my mortgage with The Mortgage Works for 5 years paying 4.9% so will give them a bell see what i can get from them. Got an advisor from Bairstow Eves looking into it, this was good the first couple of times as they were free, but now i have to pay £499 for his help so it doesnt look worth it. Loyds seem to be good, 4.39% they pay for solicitors and valuation, just £1k set up fee I didnt find one for 3.11% (wish i had) it was £311 monthly payment lol.

So, the Bank of England rate is .5% If im buying my own house to live in i can get a rate of 2% If i want a buy to let its 4.5% (which i need) If i want a buy to let but only pay the interest its 3.11% (which isnt bad) but they want £1500 to set it up so the money i save in only paying interest covers the set up fee and solicitor over the 2years. Its so annoying. Basically, anyone got a buy to let mortgage? who are you with and whats your interest rate? if you dont mind me asking. Thanks.

I was born in 84 so cant say that she was the best or not as i wasnt bothered but from what ive been told she wasnt all bad. With the mines, the ncb were going to close all the mines anyway so going on strike wouldnt have stopped it. Recession in the 80's so she sold the companies off to make money? If the miners didnt go on strike that would have saved a billion or two. Poll tax (now council tax) didnt see labour getting rid. And she was obviously doing something right, she was voted in 3 times!
