The door mechanism failed again. This time I had to replace it. This time though te door just wouldn't open nomatter what I did. Luckily the door card was already off so after 2 1/2 hours of fighting the door and getting help from my colleges we called it a day and put a lever bar in the door and put so much pressure on the mechanism and he lock disintegrated. ....voila dor open. To repair it though I had to obviously change the mechanism and three linkages because if the damage to bar did. Remember at the beginning of the thread I was having central locking problems? The electrician at work helped me find the problem. The alarm unit failed and the people thT fitted the Larm had totally disconnected the original system. The electrician wired the original system back in and disconnected the alarm unit whilst keeping the alarm units mobiliser active......confusin I know thats why I had him look at it. And finally I have removed the scratched faded tints from the quarterglasses

I haven't changed them myself but when I see them online they apper to have an offset mounting/locating bolt. This would be why they are sided.

Just thought it would be a good sta rting point. Location would depend on the areas people are travelling from. There are many pubs which will reserve a table if contacted in advance. Square and fayre are very good for this. Or a common place like bluewater where you have a wide choice of places to eat if a meet and a meal was on the books

I spoke to the mmy frien.d. the MR2 2owners club rep and he said He doesn'tdoesn't have a problem with it. TheThey'e higher numbers will justify the meets staying. They meet every first tuesday of the Month. On alternate months on a saturday in the summer months Essex and kent do a joint meet too. May be a good starting vround for a regular organised meet and if the numbers are good 300z300zx club meet could be set up on a day that suits the club more. What do people think?

How many people live in kent or nearby which could attend a monthly meet? Or does one already occur? If not who would like that to be on the books. I attend an mr2 meet mmonthly and discussions with them may see a joined monthly meet so a good numbee of people attend?
